About this house rental
This 5-bed, 5-bath oasis has a private dock that backs up to the 11-mile lagoon in the lush Palmetto Dunes Plantation. The Robert Trent Jones Ocean Golf Course is just minutes away as well. An open kitchen, living, and dining area exude coastal charm with beautiful appliances, subway backsplash, high ceilings, and chic furnishings. Huge double sliders lead to an incredible screened porch overlooking the pool, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing. Down the back steps, another covered living area and grill face the pool and lagoon. The bright and luxurious bedrooms and suites are spacious and private. The master has a generous soaker tub, and the bunk room has a gathering area for TV and games. With the porches, the pool, and the lagoon, this home is the ultimate island retreat!

This house is a perfect combination of fun for the kids and a quiet place to relax for the adults. House is beautiful. Great location. Walkable to nearly everything we wanted. Open and great for large home cooked meals. Would definitely go back!

This property was perfect for our group. It was as advertised. The bedrooms with each having their own bath were a huge plus. We loved the screened in porch and ate most meals there. It was an easy walk or bike ride to the beach. We did both. The beach was never crowded with the restricted access provided by the gated community. We also enjoyed bike rides to the general store and into town for ice cream. The pool was a great place to relax after a day at the beach. The kids loved the bunk room and the lower level game room. We would definitely return to this property on a future trip to Hilton Head.

For the price point, was disappointed in the lack of detail and attention at the property. There were many items that I wouldn't have expected:
- Toilet in MB would run after using, so had to use another toilet in the house
- Garage Door panel broken, so no way to open the door from the outside
- Grill was filthy and unusable
- Advertised having a TV on the outdoor patio, it wasn't there, only the TV bracket
- Hallway walls pretty marked up (to be expected to some degree)
On the plus side all sheets/ bedding/ towels in good shape, house was clean otherwise. All other items as advertised. If the above list was eliminated or shorter, we'd consider staying here again.
