Nice property for kids with a tree fort, and dogs with a fenced yard. Great game selections like ping pong,foosball and darts. Big TVs and comfortable furniture. We were short some paper goods, but the stores are close enough for feeling like being in the country. Great stay overall.

We needed a place to host our large family Christmas while undergoing renovations. This amazing home and host was even better than the detailed listing. First the location felt like a remote hill country location but was 6 minutes from a small town with grocery store and restaurants and only 20 minutes from nearby Gruene. The hosts had also thought of everything down to fresh Christmas decor and dog toys/treats. The back yard and covered porch made for great hangouts and late night fire pit conversations. The large game room was full of activities and the kitchen was just the right size. Plenty of parking and open communication from the host though they had thought of everything so we only communicated for check in and out. We were there for a specific purpose but the river was close by and so much around to enjoy. Perfect stay.
