About this cottage rental

Beautiful newly remodeled tiny home. Perfect for a small family. Pets always welcome. All cookware and silverware provided. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax. We have a couple different fire pits to enjoy the cool nights to come. We are located almost walking distance from Shade Tree Saloon and are along the Twin Sisters motorcycle trail. We are 10 minutes from Potters Creek boat ramp and Canyon Lake Park. Just minutes from Guadalupe River. Several great restaurants are minutes away for you to enjoy. We have free WiFi and cable. We are located right off US Highway 281.

We had an amazing stay! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and in a fantastic location. At one point, we couldn’t figure out the A/C remote (total user error on our part!), and the host immediately messaged us with clear instructions that fixed it right away. The spa was private and perfect for relaxing. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. No complaints at all—we’d happily stay here again!

We stayed this weekend. We were looking for something cozy and family friendly and this was the best choice, we have a 2 years old and he had so much fun, it was great how we had everything to cook our breakfast, brand new place, really worth it. Communication with the host was top 10. I really recommend it and we will definitely coming back

Not the fault of the owner but ants WERE BAD! I had to sleep on the small bed on the floor and ants were all over me! I had bites everywhere. We did inform the owner immediately and he did send someone. Unfortunately, the ants were actually worse the next morning. The beds were super uncomfortable as well. The place is niceish, but monthly or weekly pest care is def needed! Thanks for the stay, but we won"t be returning due to the nature of our stay. The owner was super helpful and the place was clean minus the ants.

Overall it was a really nice cute place to stay! The only thing I would say is taking a shower was a little difficult with how hard the water pressure was with blowing the shower curtain every where. We had a great camp fire and enjoyed the hot tub! It was confusing at first but finally figured out how to use the hot tub.

We really enjoyed our time here! Our host was very kind and friendly, who even let us check in early, which was very sweet! The property itself is located in a rural neighborhood with some minor construction nearby. But since the property has a lot of trees and moderate privacy, we were still able to relax in the hot tub with some friends & family. The hot tub was very nice, though it took some time trying to figure out how it worked. It would’ve been helpful to have some instructions on how to care for the tub and how to properly secure the cover when not in use. I somehow didn’t realize beforehand that the rental does not have an oven or a cutting board despite the nice knife block provided. There is only a small toaster oven with room for two slices of bread. I ended up bringing a full sized toaster oven from home since we planned on cooking this weekend. We also tried to use the grill and was surprised to see that an old onion was left on it from previous usage. That’s a shame on the previous users though since I don’t blame the host for not knowing it was there haha. The rest of the house itself was basically clean on arrival though, we only needed to sweep it but had no broom - only a poorly working vacuum. We tried our best though and tidied up on checkout day as well, following the few checkout rules provided on the listing description. All in all, it was a good stay in my opinion and I really appreciated how cute and stylish the property was for my celebration!

I wish I could bring this home everywhere we travel! It was so perfect for us, had all the amenities we needed, and was so comfortable. Super-easy check-in and check-out. Great communication with the manager. We will definitely stay here again should we find ourselves back in the area.

This place is the perfect little getaway! The house was so clean and cute. The amenities were great. I got to take my furry friend too!! The hot tub was an awesome addition as well. The host responds so fast to any inquiries or questions. *An added appreciation is that we left a few items at the house and they’re mailing them to me, no charge. Worth it!!!

The house was very neat, clean and up to date. They provided everything we needed. The WiFi worked great, and there was even a full rack of K-cups for the coffee machine. The host responded to our inquiries very quickly. We used the hot tub and had a great evening sitting around the fire pit roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. Overall, it was a great experience. We will be staying here again.
