Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy the wild life and cocktails on the front screened in porch. Charcoal BBQ. Eat outside on the back patio with dining table and chairs. Enjoy roasting marshmallows at the outside firepit (bring wood). Play outdoor games; or just relax. Enjoy two bedrooms, two baths, and 2 walk in closets. Third bed is queen sleeper sofa. Washer and dryer available. Three WiFi ready TV's. Basic cable on the den TV. High speed internet. Fully furnished kitchen.

The whole inside of the house is accessible to you. The front porch, back patio, and yard. The BBQ and fire pit. The grey storage shed on the patio is for your use. It has outside games, ice chest, BBQ needs, chairs for the fire pit, tubes for the water.

Other things to note
The garage and yellow shed are not for your use.
The deer live in the neighborhood to. Enjoy them from a distance, but remember they are wild animals. I have no pets on the premises. If you see a cat it could be domesticated or feral.
There is a pool at the club house. It is for residence only. Unfortunately you do not have access.
Boat Ramp #8 is 1/2 mile away on Canyon Springs Dr. it is the last ramp to close on the lake due to drought. That does not happen often.
A great water sport rental place is Canyon Lake Adventures located behind the Dairy Queen in Startzville. They can also arrange fishing trips and sunset cruises.
There is horseback riding off 306 near Hancock. Reservations needed.
Canyon Lake Gorge tours is an excellent interesting and historical tour. Reservations needed.
Local history Museum and Dinosaur tracks.
Tube rentals on 306. (There are also tubes in the gray shed on the back patio. You are responsible to bring them back and rinse them off.)
A beach and Kayak rentals on Comal County Park a short drive away. Reservations can be made on line. Comal Park is also a nice day use park with a beach.

My experience her at the sunshine cottage was by far my BEST experience using the VRBO. The owner was AMAZING in communication, making sure the house was ready and even gave some tips about the area. When we arrive we had a personalized bit and fruit basket waiting. The house has everything you could possibly needed. The location is perfect and close range to all the attractions canyon lake has to offer but still is far enough so you can have that nice and peaceful rejuvenation. I would Recommend this to anyone who is planning a trip in the area and want to enjoy the lifestyle of canyon lake while still receiving your “gettting away” feeling. 100/10 would come back again.

The property manager was there when we got there and was a delightful and sweet lady who made us feel welcome. Despite the cold and rain we had a wonderful time at the Sunshine Cottage. It had more amenities than I ever imagined and the house was beautifully decorated and clean. We played games, talked and watched movies in a very cozy but fashionable environment. We would love to come back again!!

The house is beautiful and Diana is an awesome host! She was quick to respond and proactive in making our stay wonderful. She thought of everything even leaving us a bottle of wine as well as fruit and cheese.
She has thought of everything and there was nothing we needed that was not already there. Thank you Diana for a much needed relaxing stay at the yellow cottage.
