Located in the new Pass Time Community, Pass Time Cottage is just steps from both the Gulf and a local favorite beach, Little Lagoon Pass. This low-density community has a sparkling pool shared by only nine homes! With the pool and the large community fishing pier just outside, guests can experience what Gulf Shores has to offer without leaving their home! About Pass Time Cottage
Pass Time Cottage is the perfect beach home for your large family or even multiple families, with ample space for 12 guests and parking for up to 4 cars. On the main level, beautiful beachy decor, a wide open floor plan, and wall-to-wall windows are the cornerstone of coastal elegance. Plenty of seating and an extra-large TV provide an excellent space for entertaining and relaxing all while overlooking the gorgeous Little Lagoon. The fully stocked kitchen has counter space for preparing meals for a crowd and the window overlooking the pool brings the outside in. On the huge covered deck, relax in the captain's chairs and enjoy the breeze! The main floor also features one bedroom with a king-size bed and TV as well as one full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Moving upstairs, the huge master suite has its own private balcony with plenty of seating and a great view of the water. Sit outside and relax before bed to the sounds of the beach. Guests will also find a TV and an expansive master bathroom with dual sinks and a tub/shower combo. Across the hall is another king bedroom with a TV and private bathroom. Finally, down the hall is the kids' retreat, a bunk room equipped with a TV, DVD player, private full bathroom and two sets of bunk beds, one full/full and one twin to sleep 6.
Outside Pass Time Cottage, guests are just steps to a local favorite beach, Little Lagoon Pass. The Pass is the perfect swimming spot for families with children, featuring beautiful white sand, sparkling shallow water, and the perfect location to launch a kayak for a day of fishing. Speaking of fishing, follow the paved walking path to the brand new fishing pier, stretching 100+ feet out over the lagoon, and enjoy a day of reeling them in!
Guests can even access the beautiful Gulf WITHOUT CROSSING A STREET! A few steps beyond the Lagoon Pass beach leads to the sandy shores of the Gulf! Simply follow the walking path below the bridge and find yourself directly on the beach! Pool Heating
The pool is heated from March 1 - May 31 and again from September 1 - December 31.
When the unit is turned on, it has a temperature sensor and will only activate when the water temp drops below the set level (Heater), or above the set level (Cooler). The unit is only capable of an approximate 20-degree difference in the ambient air temperature. (I.e. If the air temperature is 50 degrees, the warmest the water can get is approximately 70).
For large parties, guests can also rent Always Summer or Slackwater, identical homes just steps away!

The house is spacious and comfortable for a large group. Location is great, the only negatives were the tv would not connect to the internet. We were not there for tv so that is ok with us. We did have an issue with a toulet that kept running but they had someone some out several times to fix.

DeBeach ReviewIm writing this review with information that I would like to know before booking:Enter the ground floor and immediately go upstairs. 2nd floor is the main floor with a bedroom with a king bed and an attached full bath. Living room, which is a very nice size has a large comfortable sectional and two comfy swivel chairs. The balcony overlooks the lagoon which is beautiful all day! Our kids caught a ton of hermit crabs in the lagoon. To the right is the pier and is a very close walking distance. The boys fished off of it several times. They even caught two blue crabs! To the left is where you walk to the beach. Not a long walk but long enough to where you’d want to bring a wagon. However, it would be a very nice feature for the rental to provide a beach wagon. Perhaps build a small storage area downstairs with a beach wagon, chairs and some beach toys. That was a huge benefit to us at one of the other beach houses we rented a few years ago….if you’re able. Back to the balcony….absolutely love the big bar chairs and table, as well as the large eating table out there. So nice for those cooler summer evenings which we had two of those during our stay. The kitchen is plenty big! All of the necessary cookware and kitchenware is provided. The bar seats 3 people and they have an extra long table that seats 10. Perfect for our party of 11. We loved this home! It was a nice quiet location, close to the beach and hustle and bustle. Close to many restaurants, shops, bars, etc. we enjoyed the pool and plenty of space to spread out!
