We had a great time! The house was very clean and beautiful and my 9 year old son had a lot of fun in the swimming pool. It is located in a picturesque setting surrounded by forest. The host (Arnaldo) was very helpful. I highly recommend staying here. It is about a 15 minute drive outside of La Fortuna and so we found it helpful to have our own car, although not essential.

We just left La Fortuna after spending 6 nights at Casa Calibri Esmeralda. It was absolutely beautiful. The infinity pool overlooked a jungle. We saw hummingbirds, toucans, green parrots, and other birds. There is a hot tub that works great. The Kitchen was well equipped. WIFI was strong. The patio was covered so if it rained we could still sit outside. There was a pool bathroom as well. The location was great. Far enough from La Fortuna to feel like you are in the rainforest, but close enough for all the restaurants, sodas, and tours. The groundskeeper took us to see a sloth in a tree on the property, which was great. We did not have a rental car. We used a taxi and uber to get to town. Only issue we had was uber wouldn't reliably pick us up from the property, but no problem getting back. There is a bus stop right outside the gate to the property if you are bold enough to use public transportation. We recommend using the WhatsApp. We communicated with drivers directly to arrange rides. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this property.

Everything was great and was better than the pictures showed. My wife and I stayed here for 6 days for our honeymoon and will definitely be staying here again. Armando was great and even helped book excursions and private chef to come to the house.

We had a great stay here. It was the perfect balance to the other half of our vacation in Tamarindo. This place was beautiful and the outdoor space was so peaceful and exactly what I wanted from Costa Rica. The roads are definitely a little difficult to navigate at night so make sure to check in before it gets dark. We were happy we did.
