Casa Victoria. La Fortuna, San Carlos, Costa Rica

The property is absolutely beautiful and Carol and Ademar are perfection in a host. They helped us arrange last minute transportation on two occasions and answered every question we had. They arrange for us to have our groceries brought to the house since we arrived late the first night. We had a private dinner with Chef Ademar and it was absolutely amazing. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing a sloth and toucan in the backyard while we were swimming and I can’t forget to mention the fresh eggs. Carol brought us that we ate every day of our trip when we return to the rainforest of Costa Rica we will definitely stay there again. I can’t say enough positive things - if you’re thinking about staying here at Casa Victoria, do it it is the true definition of Pura Vida.

Casa Victoria in La Fortuna was the perfect base for our adventures. The home feels brand new and offers a stunning, very modern aesthetic with massive sliding glass walls that seamlessly connect the interior to the lush outdoor surroundings. The entire house was spotlessly clean upon our arrival.The approach to the house is rustic and the road can be quite bumpy, but the privacy and beauty of the property make it well worth it. The location feels off the beaten path, yet remains relatively close to restaurants and grocery stores.The immaculate outdoor space and pool were true highlights. We loved having a view of the Arenal Volcano right from the property. The landscaping is beautifully manicured, and the pool area features a built-in swim-up bar.Inside, the large kitchen is extremely well stocked with high-quality appliances, cookware, dishes, and excellent food storage. The home features three large bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. A practical feature we appreciated was the open shelving units with a place to hang clothing in each bedroom , allowing us to fully unpack and stay organized. We highly recommend this La Fortuna gem!

My family at 5 visited mid-june, for four nights in the La Fortuna area. A surprise for me, was how far away this home is from La Fortuna. It's about a 20 to 25 min drive to get to downtown La Fortuna. Several of the activities that we planned, took between 45 minutes to an hour to drive to, because of this. Honestly though, with how awesome this property is, I would have driven even farther. This is an amazing home to stay at!This property has a lot of little details, that really make you feel like you are at home and taken care of. There is a welcome gift, and a cute little welcome sign for your family. The kitchen is stocked with absolutely everything you could need. There is a recipe book where people write their favorite recipes in it for everyone to use and see.The TV is connected up to all sorts of streaming platforms, which was awesome for the whole family. Wi-Fi is super reliable and fast.Having the pool cleaned daily really kept it super beautiful, and really great to use. This property looks straight of the pages of a magazine!! I only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer at this home. Communication with the host was top notch! Well after we started communicating that was. I contacted her 24 hours before check-in, and we didn't get contact until the morning, we were driving there. It would be nice if they could contact you the day before. At the very least, I was starting to panic. But after that hiccup okay, she was always there ok

Casa Victoria was perfect for our family. Carol and Ademar were lovely hosts. The property is exactly as described, although better in person. Do not hesitate to stay here!
