About this villa rental
Villa Marcela is a beautiful private retreat located just 1 mile from downtown La Fortuna. It’s an ideal option for families, friends, and couples traveling together who want comfort, privacy, and easy access to all the main attractions in the Arenal area.
The villa features 4 air‑conditioned bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, fast WiFi (100 Mbps), and Cable TV. After your daily adventures, you can relax in the private pool or enjoy a BBQ in the outdoor area surrounded by nature.
With its excellent location, thoughtful amenities, and peaceful atmosphere, Villa Marcela is the perfect home base for exploring La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano region.
Bedroom distribution:
Bedroom 1: King sized bed, private bathroom and A/C unit.
Bedroom 2: Full and single bed with A/C unit.
Bedroom 3: Two full beds with A/C unit.
Bedroom 4: Queen bed, A/C unit and private bathroom.
***Bedroom 4 is outside the house by the pool area.
***Maximum people staying in the house is 11, however the base rate per night is for 8 people, each additional person will have an extra cost of US$25 per person per night so please add the total of people staying to get the correct amount to pay.
The villa is completely private for our guests, you do not share with anyone. Please check all of our house rules and add all the people staying, the house rate depends on how many people is staying, including kids.
We have 4 more properties in the same area in case you are a bigger group, all properties have at least 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.

Villa Marcela was an amazing spot for our time in La Fortuna! The location was super convenient to all of the activities and attractions we did! We also discovered it was walkable to the rope swing on the river which was so fun! The house was clean and the property manager was helpful and responsive! The property was well appointed and comfortable and the pool was a great place to refresh at the end of a day outside in the heat! It was a 5 minute drive into the town, which was great for getting to restaurants and shops! We would highly recommend Villa Marcella to anyone looking for a great house in a perfect location in La Fortuna!

I had a really enjoyable stay at this property and would definitely consider booking again. The host was fantastic — always quick to respond and super reliable whenever I reached out, which made everything feel easy from start to finish.The place itself was very clean and felt safe, and I loved how private it was. It was the perfect setup for unwinding, especially since we were celebrating my birthday. One of the highlights was the private chef the host recommended — we booked them for one night, and it ended up being such a fun and memorable experience. It made the celebration feel extra special.There were a couple of small inconveniences, like a few ants (due to the rain) and a front door lock that took a little extra effort, but nothing that really took away from the stay. Overall, the positives far outweighed those minor hiccups.A solid, comfortable, and private spot with a great host — and the chef recommendation was a huge bonus for our celebration.

Great house plan. True to picture. Only draw back was the size of the shared bathroom. No space on bathroom vanity. None at all. Could not even leave a toothbrush out. No place for toilet paper. Toilet paper was on top of toilet. Hard to reach. The other bathrooms are very large but this shared bath was extremely very small. Lack of hot water after 2 showers. Water was freezing cold. Had to wait about 2 hours for water to become warm ( not hot). Other than that the house is absolutely beautiful!
