Nice layout. Great access to the slopes. two good sized hills on the road leading to the house - make sure you have 4WD in the winter. Nice barrel of gravel at the driveway saved us as we started to slip. And the daily plowing of the driveway.

This is our 3rd or 4th stay at Daisy's Den and we've been long time renters of Best of Canaan. This house was perfect for a Thanksgiving for our family of four adults. Plenty of fun for the college aged kids (hiking, video games, tv, puzzles) and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Love this house, we felt very much "at home".

We enjoyed ourselves at your rental.I would mention that there are many steps to reach the main floor. For anyone who is handicapped. The cabin itself was beautiful as we made use of the hot tub and setting out back at the table. The downstairs bedroom was never cleaned or it was because the door was left open. But my bedroom was full of Dead flys and spiders. I checked every room and this was the only room that was like that. Besides the coffee pod maker and the ice maker not working. We made do with the coffee maker provided and bought ice at the store.Though we know work has to get done above us. We were woken up every morning with pounding by 7am. Even on a Sunday. We weren't expecting that.
