Slide View is a cozy chalet that will help complete your Adirondack experience with its majestic mountain views. This chalet offers 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms with room for 7 people. Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee in an Adirondack Chair on the balcony off the master bedroom. Come home after hiking, skiing or fishing and enjoy dinner on the front deck while enjoying your view of Whiteface Mountain. Everything has been remodeled with new furniture, hardwood floors and amenities throughout. The upstairs bedrooms have queen pillow-top beds and the downstairs bedroom has a extra long twin over a queen bunk bed.
This Wilmington location is a three minute drive to Whiteface Mountain and a 15 minute scenic ride beside the Ausable River to the Olympic Village of Lake Placid.

The host communicated well before our stay with check-in communication and throughout our stay. Check-in was also trouble free. The house was clean, comfortable and perfect for hiking adventures.

Fantastic rental. Had everything we needed. Accommodated our party of 6 well (3 adults, 3 children 16&under) although only dining seating for 4. Grill and fire pit available. Wi-Fi at the cabin was great and definitely needed. Other cabins close but we were still plenty secluded and didn’t hear neighboring cabins much. 15ish minute drive to Lake Placid Main Street shopping. Smoke Signals on Main Street has amazing BBQ and the outside patio offers great dining views. Close to many hiking trails. Highly recommend Mt. Jo. Flume Falls is about 3 minutes away for a swimming hole with cliff jumping available. Ausable Chasm was a bit of a tourist trap. Expensive for what you get although still fun especially for younger children & those who are looking for more of a walk.
