This Perfect Ski and Waterfront Rental Home offers truly Five Star Accommodations and is located only three miles from Olympic Whiteface Mountain!
It is a two story, 3 bedroom home. It has been designed and furnished with comfort and aesthetics in mind! Our careful selection includes antiques, contemporary pieces and original artifacts from around the world. The richness of the Earth tones welcomes all with its warmth and is in harmony with the surrounding nature.
The casual elegance and comfort of this house makes for a very special experience of Town and Country. 'Everest Dream' is nestled in a valley, in the village of Wilmington , providing breathtaking views of both Whiteface and Stephenson Ranges. It sits on an Acre of private, that is predominantly fenced in with one natural border (vegetation and shore) that includes over 80 feet of shoreline and a private dock on Everest Lake. Favorite among our guest is the 140 square foot fully screened, overlooking water gazebo! Furnished with luxury and comfort in mind.
We are in the heart of the High Peak Region and at the foot of Whiteface Olympic Mountain. Renowned West Ausable River with its' World Class trout fishing is our shoreline. Here you can swim, fish or launch the canoe or kayaks available for you to use - for a mellow paddle or some serious bird watching! Lake Everest Beach with live summer concerts is just across the river. Some prefer to sit on the dock and chat or watch the water roll by. Perhaps later in the evening you'll stoke a fire in one of the two fire pits. The large yard is great for playing croquet, play with children or your animal friends.
In Wilmington, you can submerge in the unique experience of an authentic Adirondack Village. Walking to the store, village library or for a country breakfast at a nearby restaurant brings back the joys of a time gone by in most places but lingers here in the Adirondacks. Lake Placid Village with all that it has to offer is just ten miles away on the most picturesque road of the Adirondacks. Here you can enjoy shopping, dining, arts and crafts, museums, The Olympic Center, golf and mini golf, horse shows, movies, festivals, nightlife, ... or 'in short' - hustle and bustle of this special, lively Olympic Village.
Ground Floor:
An Adirondack style porch, furnished in a comfortable, eclectic manner welcomes all! Perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the mist lift off the mountains, or sip the wine to the evening serenade of cicadas.
Our living room opens up to a majestic, ever changing vista of the Mountains. The easy comfort of a couch and armchairs invites to become one with nature. After the sun goes down one can be entertained by choosing from our collection of movies, music or books. The gas fireplace will add a warmth to the ambiance of the room as well as the people in it.
The antique dinner table sits eight, with room for two more at the kitchen island. Perfect place for the whole family to have an evening of card games, monopoly or good old-fashioned conversation. The kitchen is a state of the art affair. You'll find all the tools and gadgets needed for preparing magnificent meals, few cookbooks as well.
For summer cooking you may want to step out to the deck. There is a gas grill, picnic table and Adirondack chairs grace the beautiful lawn.
Our outdoor six person Hot Tub is everybody's favorite spot.
In our study you'll be surrounded and perhaps inspired by an interesting collection of art, books, or the glow of candle light. By night the queen size futon and hand embroidered screen from India transform it into a comfortable bedroom for two.
The ground floor bedroom, furnished with a casual, country elegance, provides a Queen Size Bed and is easily accessible for those who don't care to climb the stairs.
The main floor has a bathroom with a bathtub.
Second Floor:
The Master Bedroom is truly Masterful! A Queen Size Four Post Bed with a red canopy invites romance and the creation of special memories. The room is inviting and elegant with oriental touches, like the 17th century Chinese traveling chest.
For the little and big kids - a sunny room for happy times! Two sets of bunk beds, where the lower full size bunk folds into a couch during the day. The room is bright with color and hand-made art work from Guatemala.

The hot tub was enjoyed by all. Also the fireplace was wonderful, too. The house itself was very nice. The rooms had the Adirondack camp feel. We played Corn hole and spent time on the deck down by the water. We had an eagle fly over while we were outside. We would definitely rent it again if we are in the area. Jennifer was always very responsive.

Loved the location and its pet friendliness. Our dog enjoyed the large yard to play in and hiking nearby trails. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking and cycling. Jennifer was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely come back to stay again.

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We cooked meals together, played games, had campfires, and spent quiet time reading outside. A peaceful morning kayak was a nice bonus, and we enjoyed walking to the park in town along the river.The little convenience store right around the corner was really handy for last-minute things we forgot (but not adequate for full grocery shopping, so bring what you need). It was a great spot for our family, including our two kids and close to so many fun things to do in the Lake Placid area, hiking trailheads, and lots of sights nearby. We’d definitely stay here again!
