The Spouting Horn One condo is the perfect home base for all of your central coast activities. Your visit to the "Whale Watching Capital of the Oregon Coast" is sure to be a memorable one. There is a resident pod of grey whales which makes it's home off Depoe Bay from March through December. Visitors from everywhere come to whale watch either from the Whale Watch Center, a charter boat trip, or the many shore observation spots. When you stay at the Spouting Horn, you can whale watch from the comfort of your warm bed. How incredible!
Spouting Horn One is a studio with a comfy King bed and living area with a sofa that can be made into a sleeper and boasts spectacular Depoe Bay views. The full kitchen stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, full size gas range, microwave and refrigerator. Sit out on the glass protected deck to watch the whales and the spouting horn! Need more room? Rent Spouting Horn One, Two and Three or any combination for a larger group of up to 10 people!
Depoe Bay has the smallest natural navigable harbor in the world consisting of six square acres. A huge sea wall runs the length of the downtown area which enables visitors to shop and dine always within view of the ocean. The waves run beneath lava beds and build pressure to spout water as high as 60 feet in the air. These are known as spouting horns and are particularly dramatic at times of high tide. You won't want to miss watching the extraordinary coast guard training missions in the large surf just off the sea wall. There is plenty to enjoy all within walking distance. You can stay busy for days exploring up and down the coast from this convenient location!

We just returned from 4 nights at this location. We loved the location and view. We got lucky and had some sunny days in November, which doesn't always happen on the Oregon coast. So we were able to sit out on the chairs with coffee to watch the spouting across the street. The balcony of this unit is not covered, but if it is raining, there are also nice views from inside the unit. The free coffee offered downstairs was excellent, and there was also a Keurig machine and a regular drip coffee maker in the room. We could hear a little of the music coming from the coffee shop downstairs in the morning, but it was faint and not too noticeable. We had a minor issue the first night, and management offered a solution quickly. Check in was easy and the cleanup requirements were very minor at the end of the stay. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. They even supplied binoculars in the room for whale watching. We just booked another room from this property management company in Newport for next month since we were so happy with this one. We will definitely rent this unit or one of the units next door the next time we stay in Depoe Bay. All the pictures posted with this review were taken from the unit. Some with zoom on of course.

We enjoyed the view for sure. Saw whales multiple times which was very nice and enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck. Felt very relaxing and comfortable will there.
