You can swivel the living room chairs inwards for gatherings around the TV, or turn them back to the windows for magnetic views of the sea, our relax in the spacious bay window that is also perfect for whale watching. A dining area and fully-equipped, updated kitchen with granite countertops give you the option to cook during your stay, or take the concrete walkway into town for seafood at Tidal Raves or chowder at Gracie’s Sea Hag. Whaler’s Rest is perfect for a romantic weekend or a vacation with another couple—both bedrooms have their own TVs and baths, so there’s plenty of space and privacy for up to four people. You can easily drive 20 minutes north to Lincoln City or 20 minutes south to Newport’s Bayfront, but there’s plenty of activity in Depoe Bay, with its scenic seawall, entertaining line of shops and its tiny harbor, where you can catch a whale-watching or fishing trip.
