This amazing home was built and owned by a US Airforce vet and his wife. As his family, our goal is to preserve the experience this home has offered for over 30 years. This property features 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds. Find solitude here with an open floor plan, two screened in porches, and tons of windows that offer amazing lake views. We offer a fully stocked kitchen, linen, towels for bathing and swimming, pool table, games for children and adults, and the feel of visiting a well loved family home that we want to share with you! Enjoy the newly rebuilt dock that is perfect for summer fun! We provide floats, paddle board, kayaks, and MORE! Our dock offers a cement staircase to allow ease of getting both in and out of the lake and a ramp to the dock to allow easier access for all ages. Stay here and truly get the SML experience!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about not only this absolutely amazing property but also the host Melodie! We traveled over 5 hours here for my husband’s graduation. Melodie was very flexible with our check in time as she was always available for communication when needed! As for the house it was absolutely stunning! Very clean as described. Plenty of room for our family that traveled with us. The dock was very well maintained and the kids loved jumping in the water and kayaking! This was a wonderful home with breathtaking views! Very quiet neighborhood and very easy to get to!

Great place. Very spacious, plenty of room. Melodie was excellent and very easy to communicate with. Used the Kayaks and fished off the deck. Just a great time all around. Would definitely recommend.

beautiful, quiet, peaceful. morning coffee on the deck overlooking the quiet cove off the lake watching deer and humming birds. days spent on the dock, sunning, reading, swimming and kayaking. great dock for a boat or getting on a kayak. nice concrete platform in the shallows for little ones to stand in the water. evenings on the deck watching changing light of the setting sun on the (no houses) forested smith mountain. definitely on my "come-back" list.
