About this villa rental
Experience up close the sea pounding against the volcanic rock of Pico Island. Located on the north coast amidst the UNESCO World Heritage Site, this sea-level, ocean-front property is located 5 minutes by car from Madalena, the largest town and center for shopping on Pico Island. The house, with plenty of parking. sits on a landscaped 5500 square meter (approximately 1.3 acres) property, that also supports a small vineyard.
But the views – nature’s hypnosis! You would believe you were on a ship as you watch the waves come in from the North. Wake up early and take in the sunrise across the water to the East. Then, if the clouds cooperate, Pico Mountain will appear to the South. Sunset to the West over Faial will complete the tour.
The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious sleeping loft, providing accommodation for 6-8 persons. Both bedrooms have exits onto the sea side porch. House is climatized with two HVAC split units and has Wi-Fi and multi-channel, international TV.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has an induction stove, oven, microwave, large refrigerator, and dishwasher.
Convenience is a key feature of this rental. The property is a 10-minute drive from the airport. An ocean swimming area and park are within a 10-minute walk or a short bike ride away.
Madalena has a variety of shops, restaurants, and the ferry terminal for exploring the other islands in the region. Walking to Madalena is a pleasant 45-minute stroll, or a 12-minute bike ride on a wide bike lane will take you there.

This property is just stunning. Such a wonderful island to visit!!! We loved Pico, this location and house!! The views were just amazing - unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Could not have been more perfect! Would love to return.
