The property is on the third floor of a historic building, and consists of four bedrooms, a large bright living room, a kitchen and two complete bathrooms (one with whirlpool tub). The apartment also has a nice terrace. It is a very luxury apartment, perfect for hosting very large families or large groups of friends thanks to its large spaces. Greci Terrace is equipped with internet access with Wi-Fi and independent heating.

The property was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. Communication with the host was very good and timely. The location was wonderful. A couple of hints. One, as stated in other reviews, there are 62 steep steps to go from the street to the apartment. Just be warned.Two, the listing stated there are two pull out double beds. That is not quite right. There is a room with two single beds that you can put together to make a double bed. It was actually pretty comfortable.

Awesome place! Our family of 8 adults had plenty of room to stretch out. Plenty of AC in every room and a rooftop deck to hangout. Central to what we wanted to do as first timers to the area. Definitely recommend! j

The unit is well-located to major Florence sites and has easy access to bus stops and two taxi stands. The apartment was overall clean and well-kept. The unit was subject to several mosquitoes largely owing to the warm weather during a period of moisture. They had several insect repellant units in wall plugs that had empty cartidges which may have contributed to the proliferation of mosquitoes. The hot water was functional but we had to turn on a noisy water pressure autoclave for it to work daily. The check-in concierge was nice but seemed to downplay the importance of hot water. Still, when asked, maintenence came right away to ensure a mechanism for hot water existed.

The location and apartment are awesome. But, after traveling for 14 hours from overseas, we all needed a shower… badly. This place had no hot water. We found the boiler to be unplugged and all valves turned off. I tried to fix myself, but nothing worked. They sent a handyman over the next afternoon, and he couldn’t figure it out. The manager simply said, “sorry, it worked yesterday”, which I think is a lie. So we all got ice-cold showers for our entire stay. This amazing location is brought down several notches by poor management.

The host was aware of that the hot water wasn’t working because when we walked in to the property it was the first thing he checked. The hot water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced they offered a 20 percent discount for the days I was staying. I said no thank you and left the property early. My family including my small children couldn’t stay just shy of a week without taking a shower. I am still waiting on the refund.

Overall, I would rate our stay at this location as 'okay'. Check-in was easy, good communication with individual who met us to provide keys. Sharing what I feel to be Pros/Cons below: Pros: Good location for getting to most all desired sites easily.Kitchen well stocked with dishes/glasses needed.W/D in unit.Rooftop patio, even with cooler weather during our stay. Cons: Given cooler weather, no extra blankets in rooms.Not having two actual showers was weird, but we managed.Poor communication after check-in. *more belowCouldn't get the split unit systems in rooms to work.Would've been nice to have a couple extra pillows for each room. (easy fix?) With cooler temps, would've been nice to have blankets in the rooms. We found one older comforter that was dirty and stained. When reached out to person who checked us in, he referred to agency who would assist with these matters. When reached out to agency, they told me I'd hear back from someone in the morning who would assist. Never heard back. From anyone. Ever. This was disappointing as this could've/should've been an easy fix. However, with no feedback ever, we weren't able to get any blankets, nor were we able to get the split units working. Fully understanding we likely have been doing something wrong on the AC/Heat. However, we never heard back from anyone to make an attempt at fixing. All in all, okay stay. Wouldn't stay here when we return.

We were 9 family members travelling together. We loved this appartement. We need to climb 62 stairs to reach the appartment. There is no elevator. It was not a problem for us. The kitchen misses some equipment to be able to cook at home. Both bathrooms are great. The appartment is very luminous.

The kitchen, though great for cooking, was missing some items that we needed to go out and purchase. Overall though the beds were comfortable, everything was clean and the people were very nice. Everything about this place should be perfect. The location and check in were fantastic. But it has a leaky roof, a mosquito problem, and the drains in the sink were clogged and drained super slow. I can’t rate any higher than a two star if it has a leaky roof. The floors were also dirty in the rooms, like they only cleaned the floors in the entryway.

The location of this unit can't be beat. It's extremely comfortable and spacious with strong air conditioning in each room that was a refuge in the hot summer. There are a LOT of stairs so be ready for this. Also, it does have a washer and dryer which is a great benefit, but their location is a bit odd in that it's in a small room in the upper floor of the unit away from the bedrooms accessibile via an even smaller entry hallway with a stair. As a tall person, only way to access is via hands and knees crawling. That said, I would definitely stay again.

Overall, we really enjoyed staying at the Greci Terrace apartments. It was a great size for 3 couples and 3 more individuals (3 queen+ and 3 twin size beds). The space was lovely, the rooftop was beautiful, the furniture was comfortable, and the ac worked great. Just a warning for anyone who has trouble with stairs - there are about 5 flights to reach the apartment. A few small things would have made the stay much better - decent (and ideally extra) pillows, hooks for towels, a curtain for the downstairs bathroom.

Overall, we had a good experience at the apartment. It was wonderfully renovated. However, we experienced two problems that took a lot of time to resolve. There were insufficient blankets in the unit as well as a broken clothes washer that we were unable to use. These issues consumed significant time which was subtracted from our family’s time together in Florence.

Greci Terrace was a great choice for our group. The location was within walking distance to many of the highlights in Florence and on a quiet street. We loved being able to go up on the rooftop deck (great view) and having both a washer AND dryer was awesome! The kitchen is well appointed and we took advantage of the long counter area to enjoy a couple meals (note there is no microwave or freezer though we really didn’t need either during our stay). A couple questions came up during check-in and those were promptly addressed. We all loved Florence and would love to come back here again!

About a 10 minute taxi ride to main train station or approximately 20 minute walk. The property is on the top floor (3 stories) so be ready to climb so stairs as there is no elevator. It's probably a good thing after all the good food you'll be eating.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Greci Terrace. Although there was a small hiccup with our check-in, it was resolved in a timely manner. The apartment was beautiful and the location was perfect—close to a lot of attractions without feeling too busy. A/C in every room kept us cool for the entire trip. We had to buy paper towels and more toilet paper (and wish the apartment had wine glasses) but were happy otherwise.
