About this cabin rental
A magical place by cascading waterfalls, creating a soothing sound that is sure to wash all your worries away. Just 5-10 minutes to all local restaurants and shopping in Boone and only 15-20 minutes to downtown Blowing Rock. One of the most remarkable waterside settings we have ever seen in the NC mountains. An ideal location for an adult getaway. No pets or children because of the close proximity of the rushing waters. One Bedroom with a Queen Bed. Wi-Fi and gas logs, firepit outside.

This was our first time visiting the northwestern part of North Carolina. We loved the coziness and charm of the cabin with its extra caring touches--paintings and seasonal decor and a gas fireplace. The cabin had everything we needed from spices to cleaning and paper products and even coffee, filters, tea, cream, and sugar. We loved the selection of nearby restaurants and microbreweries--the pan-fried trout, barbecue, and hush puppies were probably the best we've ever tried. Loved the backyard babbling stream and soothing tin roof rain sounds while enjoying coffee on both porches. Slept like a baby. Great trip, quaint mountain towns, color-popping scenery on the Parkway, great antique shops, and super friendly people. We even had three huge bucks visit the cabin!

We would have liked the property to be a little more secluded in the woods, there is a very visible busy road nearby, but the stream was absolutely beautiful.

Property had a real private, secluded, feel but it's close enough to town to make things easy. The creek in the back was beautiful and fun to explore. We had a great time and would stay here again.
