About this campground/ rv resort rental
200 yard paddle to the Weeki Wachee River & gulf access. Hospital hole is about 10 minutes downriver towards the Gulf. Floating dock to make access into canal very easy! 6 Kayaks & life jackets provided. Open & fully equipped kitchen. One level living with stairs up to house and to backyard. All bedrooms have tvs. Shoot some pool, shuffle board or watch the manatees and turtles in the canal. Fire pit and screen porch sitting area. There is a dock to tie up your boat. Great canal, with plenty of manatees and fish.

The house had an open and welcoming feel when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to prepare meals in. The master bedroom had plenty of space and a nice walk-in closet. The kayaks were stored in a shed so were clean and all the seats were in good shape. The screened porch is very nice and the manatees entertained us for quite a while one afternoon. The pool table and shuffle board were fun for indoor play.

The entire house was very clean inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals when we chose to including a lot of staples such as spices, oils, splenda, etc. Stop at the house and look around before heading to grocery store, you may not need to buy everything you think you do. There is a kuerig and regular coffee pot, also an outdoor gas grill for cooking. Linens and towels were provided and laudered with neutral scented soap which is good for allergy sufferers. The house is conveniently located about 10 minutes to stores, restaurants, state parks and the beach and is on a very quiet and peaceful section of the river. If you prefer paddleboarding or boating you can rent and the rental place will deliver right to the house or dock. Getting in/out of kayaks was a little tough especially if it was low tide but once you were on the water it is fantastic, like hiking on water. We saw manatres daily. If you have time the mermaid show at the weeki wachee state park was fun and the park itself was beautiful and only 10 minutes away. We can't wait to visit again.

It was just my kids and I and we had an absolute blast! I felt safe in the neighborhood and secure in the house, which is a must for single parents! We loved hanging out around the house and floating down the spring. The house was clean and inviting, (they have the BEST blanket selection bar none!!!) 10 out of 10

Everything was amazing, and we're so sad we have to leave, but we'll definitely come again. Host was the best ... location was the best ... house was amazing ... manatees were fun to watch ... kayaking was fun. Everything was amazing.I couldn't recommend more! 10 out of 10!
