About this apartment rental
The apartment is totally renovated and furnished with taste and color that make Garraffello House a welcoming and refined place for your holiday. Hospitality, availability, friendliness are the aspects that best define the attention and care towards guests.
On the first floor of a historic building of the seventeenth century, the apartment has an entrance hall, a living room used as a breakfast room, a kitchen with appliances and three bedrooms, one with a bathroom in the room. A long balcony on which the rooms open characterizes the prospect from which one can admire Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and TV are furnished with combinations of antique and modern style in a continuous dialogue between past and present life.
The rooms are characterized by the colors:
The green room, the blue room and the dove-gray room.
The "Tortora" double room has a private bathroom with shower and can be transformed into a quadruple, if necessary, thanks to a sofa bed.
The blue room that recalls the beauty of our sea and the sky of Sicily, is a double bedroom, the bathroom (with shower) is shared with the green room.
Finally, the green room, bright and colorful like our lawns, has two single beds that can become a double bed if necessary, the bathroom is shared with the blue room.

We had a fine stay at Garraffello apartment. Stefania our host was exceptionally gracious and helpful. She answered my communications in good time. And she even arranged to meet us at the apartment on our arrival, so she could show us around, make sure we were comfortable, and offer dining suggestions. The location is perfect- Vucciria, near to sights, waterfront, restaurants, and good breakfast options. We took the bus from the airport, which stopped just a few blocks away from the Garraffello Apartment. The central train station is about 20 minute walk. The apartment is up a narrow flight of stairs, no elevator, so best for small suitcases and backpacks.All bedrooms have windows and balconies overlooking the street below, which is filled with Palermo charm. We could hear street noise at night, but it didn’t keep us up. All of Palermo is noisy at night, so bring ear plugs if you are sensitive.It was plenty of space for me, my husband and our 2 friends. It could easily sleep another adult or 2, or some kids. It is in an old building and some of the apartment features feel worn and dated. The shower in the master bathroom is tiny, but we made it work. Overall this was a good choice for us.

very clean apartment, bedrooms were nice. easy to check-in and get in the upstairs apartment. great location to walk around the historical district. amazing food downstairs and small convenience store across the street open very late for water or snacks. highly recommend!

The stay was in general really fantastic! The location perfect for moving by bus and on feet. All around the house was ideal for eating and strolling around. The only negative point was the relatively loud surroundings near the very populated Vittorio Emanuele Road, and as we didn’t sleep with air condition but with open windows it was loud until late night. I arranged with ear tabs and so it worked.

It’s a great apartment. The electricity cannot maintain all the air conditioning units on at the same time. We had to shut them off to shower or do laundry. I would 100% stay there again even though the electricity was fickle.
