Our modern log-cabin property boasts 2 adjacent homes on 22 acres of beautiful pastures and live oak forests, making it the perfect location for large family events, weddings or receptions or weekend getaways. Also close to the famous Staccato Ranch.

THE PROPERTY --

Twin Acres Ranch features a main home and a secondary cabin separated by a breezeway. Very flexible for groups that want more privacy or a safe place to separate the kids and adults.

Primary Home: fully furnished modern home. Stunning log cabin feel with vaulted ceilings and dramatic open concept for a unique living experience. And don't miss the sunset - dramatic western view across sweeping live oaks. 3 bedrooms: Ensuite master with King Bed; and 2 additional bedrooms with 2 king beds and jack and jill bathroom.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped, gas range, stainless steel appliances, fridge w/ ice maker, drip coffee makers, pantry, breakfast bar and island. We provide everything you need for the kitchen! Dishware, flatware, pots/pans, wine glasses, fancy spices, etc.

Cabin: Enjoy privacy from the group. Furnished 2nd home has kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and 1 full size bath. King and queen beds, plus 3 beds in the sleeping loft (2 full, 1 Twin Bed) in the upper rooms. Its a great loft for kids.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Large expansive and private property, gas grill, breezeway, basketball court, hammock, covered porch, porch swing, private pool, fire pits, scenic overlooks, parking for up to 10 autos. Trail head that leads to scenic pathways. RV parking available on request. Very popular area for road bikers and cattle gazing.

I have never had such a great experience renting a place for a trip. We were able to have our low budget wedding on this beautiful property for a very reasonable extra fee. I feel there were a few places that could have been a little cleaner. The master bathtub had a slight ring of buildup and there was a bit of cobwebs/dust in some places but overall pretty clean. Communication by the host was top notch. We were unable to come view the place in person, so the host FaceTimed us to show us around. The homes are beautiful, the property is breathtaking. It was all great! Thank you Tom, keep up the good work!

Tom's home was the best place we could have stayed with our whole group! We had all the aunts/uncles/cousins together for a wedding and this place was perfect for our needs. We used the guest cabin for the boys loft and the girls room, and had enough room in the main house for the married folks and couches comfortable enough to sleep the rest. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked, the bathrooms and bedrooms as well. Tom was super responsive. He even gave our family a military discount that was much appreciated by the 4 vets with our group! The pool was a bit cloudy but chlorine test strips provided helped ease our minds and we had a blast swimming with the gorgeous view all around! This home and property are a feast for the eyes, we did not want to leave! Huge thanks to Tom. We would definitely recommend staying here and would be glad to come back some day!

Good location, good communication, nice house. Watch out for scorpions coming out of drains! It’s in the country, so critters are out there, but we had three show up in the bathrooms. Spare house was really hot when we got there, but we got it to cool down by the time we went to sleep a few hours later

It was wonderful to stay in a VRBO that had enough space for all of us! The bedrooms are separate and private enough that each of the 5 couples we had staying together got their own space. The main living area was heavily used and is great for entertaining, cooking together, or playing games! The pool was a fabulous spot to cool off and we had no issues with gate or door codes. Even if we had, the hosts were both proactive and responsive - letting us know all we needed to ahead of time and even allowing for an early check in!

We had our wedding at the property and it was perfect! It was a 24 guest wedding with 10 adults and two kids staying at the cabin. The two cabins made it very easy to split the early risers from the late risers. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and worked perfectly for both a small ceremony and a reception in different sections of the property so that it felt like you were going from one event to the next. Tom was very helpful in letting us use the items on the property, and giving us a walkthrough to answer any questions we had. The pool was AMAZING on a hot summer day. The cabins were clean and spacious, stocked with everything you’d need. The property is within reasonable driving distance to many of hill country’s beautiful locations as well as the Austin airport which is great for out of town guests. We had multiple guests come up to us and say the property was perfect for the wedding. We are so happy with how everything turned out and very thankful that Tom was so supportive and accommodating for our special event. If given a do-over, we’d absolutely do it here again. Just perfect!

While we overcame all issues, it was more of a challenge than we would want to experience at a long-weekend rental where time and relaxation are of importance. Pros: The property is beautiful. It is wonderful house and the land around is serene with nature - the cicadas were out and their sounds were welcome. Dogs loved it. The pool was very comfortable and we had a good time with our ATV in the pasture. Cons: The housekeeping seemed to be lacking prior to our stay: 1. There were no towels or hand soap in any of the bathrooms (all dispensers were empty) - a single full dispenser was in the pantry and the kitchen sink had one of it's own. 2. The towels in the house are pretty warn...and they were put up wet (and were still wet) in the shelves of the bedroom they were stored in. 3. The dishes in the property were not cleaned. 4. The refrigerators and freezers were left with a large number of condiments and food - lunchables, orange juice, white claws, ice cream, fried chicken. We had multiple coolers of our own to load so it was quite annoying to unload their food items and then load ours and put their in our coolers / back of the refrigerators. Never have experienced that at a rental before to this extent. 5. We never did get the hot water to work well in the jack and Jill bathroom. We also had issues with the main house code (it didn't work) and the fire / smoke alarm going off. AC repair came twice during the stay to work on AC (not at our request).

Tom and his family have created an absolutely magical place for a big group to enjoy. There are two homes connected by a covered walkway. They have a log cabin exterior and tall vaulted main areas, much like a high end hunting/skiing lodge would have. The primary home has 3 large bedrooms and an amazing main area that is open concept between the kitchen, dining, and living areas. There are games and a very large TV that anyone in the main area can hear and see. The 2nd home has another refrigerator, kitchenette area with coffee maker, etc. and a clothes washer and dryer. It has extra beds in both the bottom bedroom and upstairs very large bedroom. This property easily sleeps 16 and kids etc could even sleep on couches. The pool is huge and has large string lights and trees all around it. BEAUTIFUL setting at night and at least partially shaded most of the day. Lots of extra chairs and tables on the porch and in other sitting areas outside. A great herb and other vegetables garden is right next to the main house that guests can pick from if they like. Tom's communication was always helpful, caring, and positive. Liberty Hill with restaurants, grocery stores, and much more is only about a 15-20 minute drive away and Georgetown is about 25 minutes away. Close enough to get to needed items, but far enough out to feel very peaceful and quiet. Our group could not have asked for a better spot. Thanks, Tom and family!

We loved having the extra cabin which helped the little ones sleep peacefully while the parents stayed up late visiting. We loved it so much and the hosts are just the nicest people ever!

The Twin Acres ranch house is wonderful for a large family to stay together and relax (so many places), have lots of fun (e.g. swimming), and enjoy wonderful home made meals (including grilling) without the pressures of daily work and school activities. Had a family gathering for my 60th birthday w/5 adults, 3 kids & a baby. We opted for both cabins so everyone had a bed & could spread out. The pool was refreshing despite the 100+ temps. The property was great but too hot to enjoy sitting outside. The view at sunset was amazing! The jetted tub was great for these old bones. We were disappointed that the goats were sold but my daughter saw cows a couple of days. We pretty much had everything we needed. The beds & couches were comfy in main cabin had recliners on the ends. Great for an old couple! Kitchen had almost everything you could think of and was good sized. Only drawback was a scorpion on the stove! Maybe put some traps near the doors. The fridge in the main cabin did not work, just the freezer. Towels, toilet paper & paper towels were stocked even though we brought our own. I recommend putting more towel hangers in the bathrooms & hand towel hook. Maybe put some outside or hang a clothesline for swimsuits & beach towels. Tom was great to work with. It was very relaxing. Just what we needed. We're considering doing a get together there annually! But in the fall or spring when it's not so hot so we can enjoy the outdoors!

Property manager was easy to deal with and super nice. There were cows that come right up the driveway and we got to feed them. Cool! The place was nice but it was in need of deep cleaning. The checkout instructions were different than we were told but we got it all done. The side cabin had no ac running when we arrived and was so hot. It took an entire day for it to cool down. First night of sleep was miserable for those over there. Overall though, we had a great time and it’s very peaceful there.

This property was the best setup, as we stayed in the main cabin and the groomsmen stayed in the side cabin. Rehearsal dinner, set up in the back yard, was a huge success.
