About this campground/ rv resort rental
Hello & Welcome to Little Bear! Our cozy tiny home is located in a quiet area just minutes from Lake Superior & many UTV/ATV/Snowmobile Trails. The Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park and Lake of The Clouds are just a 20 minute drive away. This little getaway has free WIFI, a bedroom w/a short queen bed & 2 twin size sofa sleepers in the living area, bathroom w/tub shower combo & toilet. Home is supplied with linens, towels, pots/pans & kitchenware (plates, bowels,etc). Essentially just bring your own shampoo etc.., food, condiments, coffee, BBQ Supplies & you are all set! Living room (which also turns into a 2nd bedroom) has a TV w/ an Amazon Fire Stick. Outdoor space is just over a acre & includes parking for 2/3 vehicles, fire ring & a spacious deck w/ a charcoal grill & table w/chairs. The owners also own the 9 acres right next to the property. So plenty of room for all your trucks & trailers. Our little village has a small mall with a few stores with a few gift shops, salon & the Yooper Diner. The Legion which is open to the public, just a short distance away along with the Koteka Restaurant & Bar which has a small convenience store with gas and offsale. Whether you are visiting our area for the fall colors, chasing the Northern Lights (which you can see right from the deck), rock hunting on Lake Superior's shores for Agates or Upper Lites, fishing or here to ride, Little Bear is just the spot for you!

We were so grateful the hosts had the AC running--it was over 100 degrees when we arrived and the trailer was cool, clean and very comfortable. I texted the host with a question and she called me minutes later with the answer. The immediate area is very quiet and there are beautiful beaches minutes away. Bugs are terrible until mid-July I guess, but we were not bothered at all. Nice place and nice people.

Neighborhood was quiet, place was clean, bed was comfortable, and we could use the fire pit! They also had wood we could use if we didn’t bring our own firewood. Overall a great stay! Love how close we were to the porcupine mountains. Which was great after a long day of hiking. Copper harbor was about two hours north, which wasn’t too bad of a drive either since it was a scenic drive.

This cozy trailer provided shelter for us from the rain for our two night stay in White Pine. We enjoyed the easy access from this location to the Porcupine Mountains. We didn't enjoy the fact that the door to the trailer did not close well. On one occasion it took 25 times of entering the lock code before it opened. I left a voicemail with the property owner. We were astonished that they never replied, nor contacted us in any way. Thank goodness we were finally able to get in. Quite a scary moment in this very isolated area.
