Had a great stay at this property. It worked perfect for our vacation to the Porkies! The house was very clean and well cared for. We had a blast using the ping pong table in the basement also. Would definitely stay here again.

This home was really lovely. It was extremely clean and very welcoming to our family of 5. The beds were very comfortable and it was a nice quiet neighborhood. The location was great for walking to restaurants and the beach. It made a great home base with easy drives to many of the places we love in the Keweenaw. We didn't cook our own meals while there, but the kitchen was very well equipped - including good cast iron pans! Communication from the host was better than average - not that we had any problems or concerns to communicate - this was smooth and easy! We have stayed in many rental homes around the world and this was easily one of the best we have experienced. Would stay again without hesitation.

We have stayed here several times and love the house in every way. We did not love NOT having shoveling and plowing services done during 4 days of a winter weather storm weather blizzard. We called EVOLVE and spoke in detail about our situation as well as contacting the owner of this property (off site) on the first day the snow started falling. The owner didn't get back to us until the morning we were to check out when we were shoveling to get out. EVOLVE spoke with concern to help us get snow removal done so we could get in and out of the property. EVOLVE said they would call the owner, call me back AND email me with results. I never heard back from EVOLVE. The owner blamed it on the guest services person and EVOLVE. We had to shovel the driveway and entrance into and out of the house for 3 days. This included getting plowed in at the apron of the driveway after the street plows went by. Snow fell for 3 days in an area where Lake Superior effect storms play seriously upon transportation. We were very disappointed with the owner and EVOLVE. This could have been handled very differently had anyone acted with concern for their simple responsibilities as renters.
