Each bungalow includes its own private patio, ideal for unhurried evenings outdoors, and sits just a 1/4 mile from the beach, placing the island’s best experiences within easy reach.
The Space:
Bungalow #43 offers a refined coastal escape on Aquidneck Island, part of a thoughtfully arranged collection of five private cottages. Just minutes from sandy beaches, acclaimed restaurants, and beloved local landmarks, it’s an inviting setting for a relaxed island stay.
The interiors are light-filled and carefully curated, with a full kitchen, queen bed, smart TV, and open layout that flows with ease. The private outdoor area provides a quiet spot for morning coffee or an evening drink with the scent of salt air never far off, while the shared fire pit invites lingering nights under soft string lights.
This bungalow is part of the Ellery Beach Bungalows, a private community of 5 separate homes that share a communal fire pit and have easy access to Easton's Beach. Guest Access:
This property consists of five distinct cottages. When reserved individually, guests have exclusive access to their designated cottage, as outlined in the rental agreement. The other four cottages are occupied by fellow guests, and all shared outdoor spaces are available for communal use.
The Neighborhood:
Aquidneck Island is a coastal enclave known for its scenic charm, historic character, and approachable scale. With most streets limited to 25 mph, the island maintains a calm, family-friendly atmosphere that encourages unhurried exploration. Its intimate size makes it easy to navigate, offering a quiet rhythm that reflects the essence of seaside New England.
Getting Around:
Getting around the island is both easy and enjoyable. Many of our homes are situated in residential neighborhoods where walking, biking, scootering, or renting a golf cart offers a relaxed and scenic way to explore the area.
Other Things to Note:
For dinner we highly recommend The Fifth Element on Broadway. Second Beach is very popular and tends to have more waves. Third Beach is very child-friendly as the water is usually very calm and protected from the wind. The Atlantic Grill is a great breakfast spot and walkable from this property. Newport's Cliff Walk is another must do while visiting. Located on Memorial Blvd, just before you head into Newport. Ocean Drive is an 8-mile scenic waterfront must see. The views are incredible and the mansions on Bellevue Avenue are breathtaking.

There were some problems with the heating system. The host was very responsive and sent someone to fix the problem. Great location and a very cute little spot.

The location of this property was perfect, since my elderly husband and I were in Middletown to visit nearby family. The house is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shopping for staples. It has been renovated recently and has a bright, pleasant look. Furnishings are comfortable and kitchen appliances are new. The "smart TV" was easy to get used to. The bathroom is tiny; it would be nice if the tub/shower had a grab bar. Air conditioning could use an upgrade (we were renting in mid-July, during an uncommonly hot and humid period).
