Villa Tortuga is a beachfront estate in the exclusive Punta Bella community of San Jose del Cabo, on a swimmable stretch of coast, and it does two things almost no other villa here does.
SINGLE LEVEL, NO STAIRS
The entire estate is on one level. Bedrooms, kitchen, living areas, terrace and beach access all sit on the same plane, which removes the problem entirely for grandparents, for anyone with a bad knee, and for parents who do not want a toddler near a staircase.
A PRIVATE PALAPA ON THE BEACH
Not just a gate to the sand: the estate has its own palapa on the beach itself. Shade, somewhere to leave your things, and a spot that is yours for the week.
THE HOUSE
Just under 10,000 sq ft. Four bedrooms in the main house and a separate private casita with its own kitchen, each with an en-suite bathroom, plus a half bathroom. 1 King and 4 Queens, and a playroom with bunk beds for two children: 10 guests plus 2 little ones.
BUILT FOR FAMILIES
A game room and a separate playroom stocked with toys and books. The casita gives a second couple or a set of grandparents somewhere independent to retreat to.
INCLUDED
Daily housekeeping 8 AM to 3 PM and Blue Desert Cabo concierge service. Private chef, butler, grocery pre-stocking, airport transfers, spa, yachts and golf are arranged for you and quoted separately.
GOOD TO KNOW
Smoking is not permitted indoors. Pets are not accepted. No golf cart is included. Small events are possible with prior written authorization, up to 30 guests seated or for a cocktail reception, with music permitted 10 AM to 10 PM.
