About this villa rental
Casa Rio de Luna is a recently renovated 7-bedroom villa on a hilltop inside the gated Rancho Cerro Colorado community, San Jose del Cabo, high above Playa Palmilla with the Sea of Cortes in front of it.
THE HOUSE
7 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and a Smart TV, plus 2 half bathrooms. 5 King beds and 4 Queens, with bedrooms 3 and 4 holding two Queens each: 18 guests, every one in a proper bed. Just under 10,000 sq ft, multi-level, with stairs between areas and no elevator.
OUTSIDE
Heated pool facing the ocean, jacuzzi, a fire pit lounge built for sunsets and an outdoor dining terrace with the same view.
INSIDE
Fitness room, fireplace, full kitchen and several separate living and dining spaces.
THE BEACH
This is a hilltop villa, not a beachfront one. The nearest swimmable beach is Punta Bella, about a mile away, and the four-passenger golf cart included with the house is how guests get there.
INCLUDED
Daily housekeeping 8 AM to 3 PM, the golf cart, and Blue Desert Cabo concierge service. Private chef, butler, grocery pre-stocking, airport transfers, spa, yachts and golf are arranged for you and quoted separately.
GOOD TO KNOW
Smoking is not permitted indoors. One pet is welcome with prior written approval. Events are possible with prior written authorization, up to 50 guests seated or 80 for a cocktail reception, with music permitted 10 AM to 10 PM.

If you need an escape, this house was amazing! Very clean and spacious. Alfredo made our stay A++ by helping to organize transportation and he answers all of your questions promptly. The house was recently remodeled before we arrived, so it looked even better than the original pics posted. The views are incredible and there is so much space to walk around. There is even a tavern down in the basement! Perfect for big birthdays, weddings or family vacations. We had a chef come cook for us and a mariachi band! The acoustics in the main foyer are incredible. Thanks for the best time! I hope to return one day!

We stayed at Casa Rio de Luna with our wedding party and could not have had a more incredible experience. Violeta was always responsive to our requests and extremely accommodating. The house is truly one of a kind and we enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunsets by the infinity pool. We only hope that we can return someday!

I'm short of words to describe this villa. I stayed in this villa for my birthday with 14 other guests. It's in a gated secure neighborhood. The pictures do not do it justice! The infinity pool and hot tub are insane. They give you an awesome view of the ocean and free access to whale watching and fireworks! The fire pit is great for late night games and smores. The master bedroom is a house on it's own - jacuzzi, walk in closet, massage table, treadmill etc. The service is great. Carlos was a great host - very communicative and willing to help and recommend events. The staff was awesome from the cleaning lady who cleaned everyday to the chef who made a wide variety of food. The beds and sheets were super comfortable.Given the current state of the world, we did not need to go out to have fun. The villa allowed us to bring the fun to the house!
