About this apartment rental
Our vacation rental “Brisko” is one of two apartments on the same property and can generally accommodate up to 6 adults.
The apartment is located on the first floor of an apartment building. You can access the apartment via the stairwell. On this level, you’ll find the bedroom with a double bed, a living room that can also be used as a bedroom, a bathroom (renovated in 2021), a separate toilet (renovated in 2021), the dining room, the kitchen, and an utility room with a washing machine.
Above the second bedroom, accessible via a small staircase, is our so-called “Heidizimmer,” which can be used by young guests as well as adults. The staircase is not suitable for very young children who, for example, have difficulty climbing down from a loft bed. These children would then have to sleep downstairs, as the staircase is steep.
There is a small balcony on both the southeast and northwest sides, where you can enjoy the sun at any time.
The apartment is fully equipped. In addition to standard kitchen appliances, this includes board games and, of course, bed linens, which are already included in the price. Each bedroom has a TV, as does the dining room/living room.
One free parking space on the property for a standard passenger car is available per unit.
There are various attractions in the immediate vicinity. In addition to hiking trails in the “Bergisches Land,” both the Königsforst and the Wahner Heide are right on your doorstep and can be explored on foot or by bike.
Not to be forgotten are the surrounding major cities, such as Cologne, Bonn, Siegburg, and Bergisch Gladbach. Cologne, for example, can be reached from the Rösrath train station in 17 minutes by train (Deutsche Bahn’s RB25 line), which runs every half hour. Rösrath Station is just 1.5 km from the apartment. You can get to the station on foot, by car (free parking available), or by bus.
Furthermore, Phantasialand (theme park) and Aqualand (water park) are within easy reach.
Check-in is generally only possible starting at 4:00 PM. Check-out should be completed by 10:00 AM at the latest; otherwise, the full day’s rate will be charged.

Very clean. Parking was perfect!!! Especially with a large van. Appreciated the kitchen especially with two little boys. Very cute area. Great public pool especially during the very hot weather. Great resturants near by

We loved our stay at the Brisko home! Our host was timely in communicating with us and very helpful. We loved that there was an actual parking space off the street reserved for our rental car. The Brisko home was a 10 minute walk for us to a bakery, which was very convenient in the mornings. The WiFi and kitchen appliances worked well. I guess I didn’t fully understand the way the house was set up because I thought there was a living room in addition to the three bedrooms. My brother stayed in one, my sister in another, and me/my husband in a third, but that meant no living room (as my/my husband’s bed was in the living room). Also, I did not realize when one bathroom said “shower only” that it meant no toilet in that bathroom. I thought it just meant no tub with the shower so you could also take a bath - it truly means one of the bathrooms has no toilet. Also, I did not realize that one bedroom was up something halfway between stairs and halfway between a ladder. My sister slept up there and it was a bit treacherous for her climbing up and down it at night. But our beds were all comfortable and we would definitely stay there again! Beautiful location in a very quiet neighborhood (we were never awakened by noises).

We came to Cologne for a wedding. This house was the perfect fit for a long weekend. Well appointed. Clean. Beautiful surroundings and quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to Cologne as well. Great place!
