Cozy Home in the Heart of Corvallis

Overall, the house was very nice. The house was very clean. Check-in process was not all that smooth. We had to contact the host at the front door in order to get access into the property and we were well passed the check-in time. We had sent several messages the day of arrival, prior to arriving requesting the check-in process/code. Once we access the house, we were pleased with the accommodations and everything was as described in the listing. The backyard was very lush and there were lots of places to sit, however, however, it would have taken considerable amount of time to clean off cushions, etc. in order to use it . Also, of note it is on a very busy street so there is fairly regular road noise if that is an issue for you.

Everything was great! Instructions were clear, the house was very clean, the beds are super comfortable. The keurig supply was filled so our coffee needs were taken care. We would have loved to use the backyard if the weather was better. Very nice way to stay in Corvallis.

House was true to description but getting the code to get in was made unnecessarily stressful by the owner being nearly impossible to get a hold of. I had to text, email AND leave voicemails before I got the code just before we were getting on the plane. Other rentals send this 2-3 days prior to arrival. House was fine for the most part and clean but the road noise at night was loud, there are freight trains blowing their horns at 4 a.m., the BBQ was absolutely filthy and covered in cooked food, and the hot tub had bright green water and was unusable. Also there was no hot water in the bathroom sink, and turning on the hot tap made the pipes bang super loudly. We would not rent this house again.
