Beautiful family home with hot tub, near beach

The house is decorated beautifully and has plenty of potential, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. Our stay was memorable for all the wrong reasons, and at times it was almost comical just how unprepared and poorly maintained the property was.We arrived to find the microwave rusted and dirty, cigarette butts scattered across the garden, and a very large seagull dropping smeared down the centre of the lounge window — a rather literal welcome from the local wildlife. The boiler had been switched off, so there was no hot water when we arrived. Cobwebs hung in corners, showers drained so slowly they almost filled like baths, and the house itself felt like a greenhouse, having sat unoccupied for at least a week, with bolted‑shut windows in some bedrooms, inadequate blinds, and just two feeble fans to battle the 30‑degree heat. It was so stifling we resorted to leaving both the front and back doors wide open just to let the house breathe.Several things were not just inconvenient but outright unsafe: a glass lounge table that wasn’t actually fixed to its base, which could easily have toppled onto our one‑year‑old, bedroom floors where sections were just carpet covering a hollow beneath, and a hot tub with no chlorine tablets or means to keep it sanitary. And for a property advertised for eight people, it’s baffling that there’s only parking for a single car and a kitchen barely large enough for two to stand in at once.The internet did n

Fab house with everything you need for a great holiday, Lenka was very helpful and quick to reply. Location excellent for costal walks with plenty of restaurants and bars in Paignton or Torquay which is only 2.5 miles away. Would definitely recommend.

All of the family was surprised how modern the house was. The heated floor was a surprise touch.

Booking & communication with Lenka was very easy. She was super quick at dealing with enquiries & helpful. The property is in an ideal location for lots of activities. I had 3 adults & 4 children and this property was a good size. All the bedrooms are a good size. The hot-tub is a nice touch. The garden is a small but we managed as we were out most of the day. A few issues with the shower but Lenka offered us refund for this. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of dog hairs on the floor & furniture, otherwise we loved staying here. Lenka was super polite & accomodating .
