Our exclusive home is located in the heart of the historic center of Catania, where history embraces elegance. We are located 200 meters from the pedestrian Piazza Mazzini, 300 meters from the Duomo with breathtaking views of the baroque and the cathedral of Catania and 10 minutes from the sandy beach.

Our house is located in the historic building called “Palazzo Trewhella” which took its name from the engineer who built it; Robert Trewhella, an English contractor, came to Catania in 1860 on business, was enchanted by the beauty of Via Garibaldi and the Cathedral of Catania and decided to build his home where he settled and spent his whole life. Enchanting View: Enjoy the breathtaking view directly on the historic and famous Via Garibaldi with two balconies overlooking the cathedral and three balconies overlooking the Church of Santa Chiara, an unforgettable experience that will accompany you throughout your stay. Modern Comfort: Our home combines the charm of the past with modern amenities, offering you an uncompromising stay. Great location . The property was perfect for our family. Great kitchen & facilities in the home. Everything we needed for our stay of 5 nights. Host was fantastic.

The apartment was clean, nicely decorated, well stocked and very spacious. The views from the balcony were great. We enjoyed being outside and watching what was happening on the streets below. Due to the wonderful location being so close to the action, it can get a bit noisy at night, but nothing that some earplugs couldn’t fix. I would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed walking to all the sights and restaurants and our check in and check out was seamless.

Ida really made the check in and out easy, the apartment was secure, setting was fabulous, she thought of everything, apartment was well decorated, high ceiling, newer kitchen, large TV, very nice and clean bathrooms, towels provided for all. It is close to everything.
