About this house rental

In the peaceful countryside of the purple Périgord where truffles, foie gras and good wine reign, Bénédicte and Olivier have thought of you! You will stop time in the intimacy of a pretty nineteenth century farmhouse, its 50 ares property and its heated swimming pool from May to September depending on the weather.
In its warm atmosphere, the 260 m² Gîte Ô temps suspendu can easily accommodate 14 people:
The main building and the converted stable:
2 double bedrooms (160 beds)
2 bedrooms with a double bed (140)
2 bedrooms with a double bed (160 bed) and a single bed
2 bathrooms with bath and shower
1 shower room with toilet
2 separate toilets upstairs and on the first floor
A fully equipped kitchen
The living room and dining room are combined in a large, bright space

Private swimming pool from May until the end of September: alarm system at the bottom of the pool. Possibility to have the heated pool in April and October for an additional fee.

Covered outdoor area: former tobacco dryer converted into a lounge and dining area
Wi-Fi is available both indoors and outdoors, so it's up to you to see if you want to take advantage of it.

Set off on foot or by bike to discover the surrounding countryside, its caves and springs. (Bicycles are at your disposal)
Embark on a canoe (available) and let yourself be lulled along the Dordogne. You can reach it on foot by a small path that starts from the farmhouse.

The center of Trémolat is 5 minutes away by car, you will find bakery, restaurants, beautiful monuments and a nautical center.
Between Bergerac and Périgueux, 1 hour by car from Sarlat very beautiful village and many others such as Saint-Alvere, Lalinde, Limeuil, Le Bugue, ...
35 minutes from Bergerac airport.

Possibility of bedding as well as bath and pool towels on site for an additional fee. Possibility to arrive earlier and/or leave later for an additional fee, depending on the period booked.

We had a very nice stay in the accommodation, even if the weather was unfortunately not as we had hoped. Even in bad weather you can sit in the open barn or enjoy the whirlpool and sauna. The interior is beautiful, we loved the wonderful living room and every room ist bright and nicely furnished.
The landlords are super friendly and helpful at all times.
On site everything is as described in the advertisement, there is no lack of equipment.
Unfortunately, the neighbors are not too friendly, even though we always tried to communicate with them, but that's not the landlords' fault.
It was also great for the dog, everything is fenced in and the outdoor area is divided so that the dog can't get into the pool.
The only thing we would criticize would be the comfort of the beds and possibly the cleanliness of the bathrooms, if you are picky.
We would come back anytime and thank you for the lovely Week.

The property was really great, it had everything we needed and the location was beautiful, only meters from the Dordogne and Tremolat was a short journey by car or bike, a little longer to walk.
Our hosts, Benedicte and Oliver, were exceptional! The Marche Gourmand recommendation was a winner and playing petanque with the locals the following day, meant we had an immersive French experience. When our supermarket delivery wasn't going to arrive the day we checked in, they arranged for some friends to have it delivered, quite incredible service.
Without hesitation I would recommend the house, the area and the hosts, a holiday never to be forgotten.

This is a beautiful property. The facilities all lived up to our expectations. My 2 adult daughters made full use of the hot tub, and usually had a glass of bubbles whilst they did it. The tabac was a lovely outdoor dining area. The peace and quiet of the location was just what we wanted and the village of Tremolat is super, with plenty of dining options.A great holiday.

This is just the most incredible place. The property itself is beautiful, the owners are kind and responsive and they have thought of everything. The outdoor space and interiors equally fantastic. You could just hole up here and have the best holiday -- but it's also a great location, in walking or cycling distance of a lovely village (with bakery, bistro and brasserie) and near the river, and only 15 minutes drive from some excellent places to visit. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
