5 min to Thames, less than 1 1/2 hours to Auckland airport, handy to all locations on the Coromandel Peninsular.Would have given 5 stars for everything except for the fact that the kitchen and dining area is 1 1/2 steps down from the rest of the house. Yes there are hand rails but still awkward for someone with a walking stick and very difficult with a wheel chair or walker.

Stayed 4 nights. Accommodation looked attractive with good quality furniture. Lounge area had too much furniture. Looked cluttered. Large mats that you could easily trip up and fall if elderly. Vacuuming had not been done. Refrigerator not cleaned. Food left in refrigerator by previous occupant.Did not show us around the accommodation as is usually done. Large television that we could not use as had complicated written instructions. Duvets on bed not cleaned or replaced. Owners pleasant to speak with. Anne L.

Lovely place to stay. Nice homely house. Warm & inviting. Convenient place for my friends & I to head up to the pinnacles. Extra shower & toilet definitely came in handy with a big group. Jill was an amazing host, popped in to say hi, available to answer questions, and was really helpful. She even made us scones for half time, while we watched the All Blacks game! (So yummy!) I'd definitely come an stay again.
