Elegant and spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath waterfront home on tranquil Lake Michigan, with all the comforts of home for your perfect Door County vacation. Sandy private beach. Open plan, light-filled great room features two stories of lake-view windows. Large master suite and two lofted bedrooms sit in distinct parts of the house, ideal for keeping loved ones nearby without feeling crowded. Grill out or relax with a beverage on any of our 3 decks. Basement den with TV, ping pong, & small home gym.
Named for our wall of windows overlooking the lake, The Clerestory is an elegant and spacious waterfront home on a quiet rural lane. With 2,500 sq.ft. and a sunny, open layout, the house is set up perfectly for sharing time with family and friends.
The 110' of shoreline provides the perfect place to lounge in a beach chair or play with the little ones.
With three decks to choose from, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the Adirondack chairs facing the water, grill lunch on the back patio, and a relax with a glass of wine outside the master bedroom.
A finished lower level with a ping pong table, sofa that pulls out for sleeping, exercise bike, and Roku TV adds bonus space for recreation.
Bedroom 1: "Master Suite" with 1 king bed, and 1 full-size sofa sleeper, on the first floor with a private bathroom, water-facing deck, and walk-in closet.
Bedroom 2: "West Loft" with 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed. In its own loft, accessed by stairs off the dining room.
Bedroom 3: "East Loft" with 2 twin beds and private full bathroom. In its own loft, accessed by stairs near the great room.
Great room: extra sleeping space with a full-size pull-out bed and a comfy couch.
Basement den: extra sleeping space with pull-out couch.

This property worked so well for our family! We had six adults and two children under the age of two. There was plenty of space for people be together when we wanted to be together, and also have some down time away from the group. Really appreciated the abundance of toddler toys, books and sand toys, and the owners’ generosity with allowing use of the kayak and tandem bike.The view of the lake from the house is good, even while being protected from strong winds by the trees. The beach is close to the house, and just a few stairs down to get to the beach.The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. The house does not have air-conditioning, but there are plenty of fans, and the breeze from the lake helps keep it cool. We would definitely stay here again

Great location. Fantastic yard for gathering and playing games. Lots of amenities very kid friendly. Had everything you would need for vacay. Close enough for day trips wherever you want to go. We even went to manitowoc for the day. Great to just spend the day hanging out at the house as well. We love this place. Would rank one of our top stays in the last 6 years of getting a house in surgeon bay for our family vacation.

Beautiful setting with direct lake views and lake access in a quiet, very walkable neighborhood. There is a mile of friendly beach that we walked each day.The home is spacious and comfortable with a great kitchen, outdoor eating space, and a big refrigerator.The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The lofted bedrooms can get pretty warm on hot days as there is no AC. Most of the nights were cool enough, but on hotter days my sons slept on the pull out couch downstairs. The location is a close drive to the best beach on earth at Whitefish State Park. White sands and crystal clear water, and dog friendly if you are able to make the walk to the super nice dog beach. There is a golf course 1 mile away and my boys enjoyed visiting the driving range. We loved every day that we spent here.

The host is extremely responsive and pleasant. The house is spacious and beautifully located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
