This true waterfront, private, classic Door County home offers a great location for exploring all Door County has to offer. Great rates make it perfect for both large and small groups as it sleeps up to 12 in 5 bedrooms, in real beds. (no bunks, pullouts, futons or worse here) Thoughtfully restored and renovated to honor the vision of the original owner, it is unique for a historic, turn of the century cottage, it offers 3 bedrooms on the first floor, 2 with queen beds, 1 with a king bed - a boon to those who might struggle with mobility, or simply dislike stairs. The two bedrooms upstairs are adjacent to a sitting room and are great for groups with teens or kiddos who don't mind getting away from the 'grownups'. 2 Baths, one down and one upstairs, large living room with original fireplace that opens to the waterfront, 3 season comfortably furnished porch, dining room and fully equipped kitchen round out the interior. A waterfront firepit (with all the wood you want), tennis court, private, huge fishing pier and harbour and acres of woods and hundreds of feet of waterfront to explore round out the outdoor amenities.

Imagine waking up and grabbing your coffee to step outside the porch and 50 feet down to the water to watch the the ducks, geese, jumping fish and sailboats cruising in the distance. Grab your fishing pole and head to the private pier and harbor to test your skill. Or step across the driveway to play a few sets of tennis or pickleball on the private tennis court.

After a day exploring the property or Door County and grilling your dinner on the propane grill on the patio, sit around the waterside firepit (firewood provided) to enjoy a fabulous sunset and trade stories while making and eating smores.

The lawn slopes gently to the waterline where you can step right into the bay to swim, fish, or launch your own kayak. The large patio with gas grill and plenty of seating and tables that overlook the bay as well.

Bring up to 2 dogs, it is dog heaven with woods, shoreline and lots of space indoors and out. Water dogs especially love being able to jump into the bay.

This beautiful cottage is part is part of a large, family owned for over 100 years property/compound with extensive acreage, lots of history and privacy. The Annex has been thoughtfully updated and renovated to provide modern conveniences, but not lose the charm and vision of the original occupants. A classic Door County 'cottage' (if 5 large bedrooms can be called a cottage) you will enjoy hundreds of feet of walk into the water private waterfront (with more waterfront at the private pier/harbor) . Not a condo, motel in sight (or sound).

Play tennis or pickleball on the tennis court (or let the kids blow off steam and ride their trikes or play dodgeball on it - safe from traffic). The large, private pier provides fishing and stargazing opportunities.

Inside - Central A/C, wifi and smart TV are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, flatware, cookware and electrics including pot and single serve coffee makers, crockpot, griddle, mixer. We also provide a water cooler with bottled water.

There is plenty of parking available adjacent to the house as well as parking for a boat/trailer if needed.

Great location a few minutes from the boat launch at Frank Murphy County Park, historic Horseshoe Bay Farms, downtown Egg Harbor, farm stands, wineries, art galleries, boutiques, golf, mini-golf, hiking, biking and dining options ranging from casual to full out splurges.

Although Annex sleeps up to 12, our direct book rates are reasonable so why not have lots of room, privacy and waterfront instead of a condo and nosy neighbors? This home is larger than it looks. There is plenty of room for 12 people to spread out.
