OMG this was the best place ever. Apartment very pretty with the Acropolis in sight . Host excellant with attention to detail inside such as makeup removal pad, Q-tips, hangers in the cupboards, and spotless and clean. Beds very comfortable . It is so central to the Syntagma Sq. the Monastikaki ( bazaar area) and the best restaurants right next door and down the streets, excellent grocery store with all natural products on the same block, next to Plaka, walking distance to plenty of ancient sights and wonderful transportation available with metro and taxis, buses and Uber.

Our family of six adults had a great three night stay. The location was ideal as we were in easy and safe walking distance both during the day and at night, to Plaka, the Acropolis, Athens National garden, and Monastiraki. The unit is on the fourth floor, five flights above the ground floor. There is a small elevator which we used only for transporting our luggage, though one could choose to always use it. The apartment was clean. The beds comfortable. The host was very accommodating and responsive in providing us with two extra sets of keys and with extra detergent pods for the laundry. We didn't utilize the cooking facilities or TV. What little time we spent there was on the large balcony, which has a view of the vibrant street below. Our stay was in the middle of a two week trip, so much laundry was done. I was initially concerned that the apartment had only a washer and no dryer. The host assured me that the laundry would dry quickly on the balcony after being hung on the provided and very large laundry rack. That was indeed the case. Both bathrooms are hall baths, each with showers. The shower head in one of the baths is a handheld type with a holder just above waist level. Only one in our group was willing to use that shower. A combination shower gel/shampoo is provided, so if you are particular about your hair care, you will want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. We would stay at this VRBO next time we visit Athens.

We had a wonderful time. The home was good. We loved relaxing on the large balcony. Location was perfect. Communication was great and they were helpful, responses to questions were quick. Check-in seemed confusing when I first read instructions but it was simple. Only recommendation: it would be nice to have another set of keys.

You can't beat the location! The condo is in the heart of old town Athens and walkable to the Acropolis, tons of restaurants and shops. We loved it. The condo itself was spacious and clean. It would be nice to have a second set of keys and the master bedroom ac unit could entirely keep up with the extremely hot August temps. The other rooms cooled down easily and were very comfortable. The unit had everything we needed. We loved the view of the Acropolis and spending some downtime on the balcony. Overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend.

Everything was perfect about our stay. Apartment was clean and very accommodating for our family of six adults and in a great location. It was very easy to communicate with George. He provided a very informative booklet with nearby activities and restaurants. The restaurants we tried were delicious!

We had a wonderful stay for two nights before taking a cruise out of Piraeus. The location is absolutely ideal — in easy walking distance of all the tourist highlights and lots of great restaurants, but on a relatively quiet street. Couldn’t recommend enough! Host was so responsive and made our stay so easy. Very clear communication and the location was perfect for walking to all the sites of Athens! There are so many food and drink options nearby. The apartment itself is beautiful and well laid out, and our family trip of 6 had no issues sharing the space. We especially loved the patio and would end our evenings out there playing cards. 10/10 stay and would recommend to anyone staying in Athens. Other great perks we enjoyed were the nespresso machine, air conditioning, and washing machine!

It was a nice Vrbo property. It easily accommodates 7 people. The apartment was so clean and cozy. The view was amazing to the Acropolis from the kitchen and from the main bedroom. Communication with the host was on time and very helpful with all the questions and concerns you have. The neighborhood is pretty nice at night a lot of restaurants and breakfast places to choose. The beautiful apartment was just as advertised. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. The kitchen was nicely equipped for our stay. Everything was extremely clean. We particularly appreciated the A/C as Athens was still on the warm side despite visiting at the end of September. The apartment is within walking distance to everything, including bus and metro lines. The view of the acropolis was amazing. We especially appreciated the hosts availability and quick responses to our questions. We also appreciated the car service that they set us up with for our trip from the airport to the apartment. It made for an easy arrival after a long airplane ride. Thanks George and Spyros!!

There were also plenty of wonderful cafes, ice cream shops, and restaurants close by. George was also extremely helpful when arranging transfers from the airport and to the port. This apartment is just amazing. It has everything you need to be comfortable away from home. The location is fantastic, once you figure out where all the best place to go are it takes no time to walk to the market, Syntagma or the Acropolis. The restaurants around the apartment are great but we liked finding the small local restaurants. The stairs up to the apartment is a bit of a work out but there is an elevator if it's just too much after a day of sightseeing. The view of the Acropolis from the kitchen at sunset was spectacular! Spyros was amazing! If you get a chance to have him as a tour guide, I would highly recommend it. The only negative we noted was no clothes dryer in the unit. It was hot enough to do a load of laundry in the morning, hang it up and it would be dry by dinner. So it really worked out ok. We would definitely go back to this perfect apartment again.

George was an excellent host, staying in communication with us from booking until the end of our stay. He made it so easy to store our luggage for a few hours before check-in and after check-out. We loved having plenty of space for 4 adult family members as well as the views of the Acropolis and sitting on the balcony at the end of our day. It looked recently renovated and was spotlessly clean. While there are a few stairs up, the small elevator was big enough to accommodate luggage or 2 people at a time. We would love to come back and stay here again!!!

This was our first trip to Athens with 7 people staying in the apartment and we had a fantastic experience! We visited the end of May/first of June and it was just wonderful. The apartment is in a great location that is walkable to everything we wanted to do during our stay. It was comfortable, clean and even better than the pictures! It’s on the 5th floor but there is a tiny elevator (no more than 2 people could fit!) that made trek up easier if you needed it. And the view was incredible! There’s a little balcony on one of the bedrooms to step out on to marvel at the clear and unobstructed view of the Acropolis. And the location couldn’t have been better. There’s a fantastic little cafe called Antoni’s Yard at the end of the street we frequented morning and evening that was delicious and our server was just delightful. We walked to dinner both nights we were there and had so many great choices it was difficult to make! We also enjoyed our walk over the to Acropolis through Plaka for our tour. The host George was responsive to my emails and helpful in my inquiries. I could go on and on but in short, book this apartment!

My husband and myself are two daughters and their husbands all loved our stay at Spyros and George’s apartment. The location was in the neighborhood that has some of the best restaurants in the city, and we enjoyed several of them! Walking distance to everything. Including the Acropolis. Something really special about this place is that Spyros is the best tour guide ever!!! Our family and four other friends, who were visiting Athens with us, thoroughly enjoyed a five hour tour with Spyros that was beyond all of our expectations. He was so knowledgeable, witty, interesting and personable. We all thought that the tour was the highlight of our visit to Athens.
