The unique turret provides access to the upper floors and a superb view from the first-floor terrace. The 180m² accommodation (all inclusive except tourist tax) is attached to a hydroelectric mill.

The "Moulin de Ronsard" cottage (which once belonged to the poet's family) is located at the gateway to the Sarthe region, and about an hour from Tours, Blois, Amboise, Chaumont-sur-Loire, and Le Mans (a must for fans of the 24 Hours of Le Mans!). Numerous activities and discoveries await you: less than 10 minutes away, the Ruillé-sur-Loir water sports center offers sailing, kayaking, canoeing, and diving. The Vienne nature reserve is 15 minutes away. For hikers, two marked trails pass through Couture-sur-Loir. Golfers will find a course 34 km away (Golf de Tours Ardrée). The La Flèche Zoo, the Château de Poncé-sur-le-Loir, the Château de la Possonière (Ronsard's birthplace), the charming villages of Trôo and Lavardin (one of the most beautiful villages in France), vineyards... you'll be spoiled for choice! In your cottage, you can enjoy a large enclosed garden, views of the Loir River, and be soothed by the gentle lapping of water from the mill.
