It sits on a hill at an elevation of 450 meters (approx. 1,475 ft), offering breathtaking 360° panoramic views of cultivated fields, forests, rolling hills and small lakes typical of the Tuscan countryside.
Its location is truly unique: although surrounded by peaceful, unspoiled nature, the property is reached by only 700 meters (approx. 0.4 miles) of unpaved road, which is always kept in excellent condition. Florence and Siena are less than an hour away by car, the coast is 40 minutes away, Volterra is 12 km (7.5 miles), San Gimignano 15 km (9 miles), and Castel San Gimignano just 5 km (3 miles) away. Castel San Gimignano is the nearest village with a supermarket, bar, post office and restaurant.

3. The property is the result of the recent restoration of a 17th-century Tuscan farmhouse and retains many of its original features, including traditional Tuscan vaulted ceilings, stone staircases and impressive chestnut wood beams.
4. Ground floor: 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, including 1 with traditional Tuscan vaulted ceilings and 2 with large chestnut beams; 1 fully equipped kitchen; and 1 living room with fireplace and satellite TV.
5. First floor: 2 living rooms with fireplaces, satellite TV and sofa beds; 2 fully equipped kitchens; and 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. The entire first-floor ceiling features large chestnut wood beams.
6. The guesthouse is located 10 meters (approx. 33 ft) from the main villa. It has 3 French doors overlooking the hills, the village of Sensano, the Pignano forest and the villa, as well as 2 large windows overlooking the cypress trees and the area's two small lakes.

We had an excellent time and our host Valerio, made the experience perfect for us as he was responsive and is such a kind person! The accommodations were comfortable and beautiful, in an idyllic setting! We will definitely be back!

Our group had the most wonderful stay at Valerio’s villa. It had everything we needed for our week long stay. There were so many areas to chill and dine. The two upper apartments were a great surprise and perfect for couples who want their own space. The pool and surrounding countryside is spectacular! We hired a pizza chef for 2 nights on Valerios recommendation and he did not disappoint. Delicious pizza for days! We also hired another chef Sophie who cooked for our group another 2 nights. 4 course meals of our choosing. They were also divine. Don’t hesitate staying here, we were all sad to go and would go back in a heartbeat! Valerio is an amazing host and is a stones throw away if you need but gives you the privacy and makes you feel like it’s your home while you’re there, not his! Thanks again

My family of eleven stayed at Valerio's Villa for my 70th birthday and had a wonderful time. He was a great host and would highly recommend this place.My son enjoyed using the pizza oven and BBQ. The grandchildren loved all the open space to play, and we all enjoyed the pool.The Villa was close to many walled cities to visit.Everyone loved the meals and cooking class with Maria.The family dinners we had on the patio over looking the Tuscan countryside were unbelievable!!

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary there with friends and would do it again.
The villa is as described. The pool is high quality and everything is very tastefully decorated. The location and the view are marvellous. Hikes were possible directly from the villa. We also had Maria as our cook and Sandro as our pizza chef. Both were great and spoilt us with their dishes.
As it was unfortunately already too cool for us to eat outside in the evenings and mornings, we sat in the living room of the ground floor flat. For our guests who had their rooms there, it was a bit noisy in the morning when Maria was preparing breakfast. It was also very cramped in terms of space. This would not have been the case if we had been able to sit outside in the warm weather.
