About this cabin rental
Cozy Log cabin conveniently located between 2 ski resorts and close to Main Street Banner Elk. Entertainment, many restaurants, wineries, outdoor activities all within a short distance. Fully furnished kitchen, gas fireplace, hot tub, fire pit. Enjoy fresh mountain breezes at 4000 ft elevation. Front porch swing and rockers, screened back porch with a relaxing hot tub and gas grill. Short drive to Boone, Linville, Blowing Rock and all that the NC High Country has to offer. Easy road access. Pet friendly. Will entertain long term rentals at a discount.

Host was very responsive and helpful. We had a beautiful snow during our visit which made the driveway a bit slick and the host kindly arranged for the drive to be plowed. The home was clean and well cared for. The bedrooms were spacious. The screened back porch was lovely and private, and the hot tub was wonderful—clean, with strong jets. The location was incredibly convenient to both Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. As some other raters have noted, the home is directly on the parkway with a bit of noise, so it’s good to be aware of this before traveling. There was a large volume of traffic on the parkway the weekend we stayed due to the snow and an influx of visitors heading to the top of Beech Mountain for skiing/tubing. It was nice for us to be so close to a main road, though, with the driving conditions. Some other reviews mentioned the enclosed side yard with fence. There is a nice side yard, but the fence is not fully enclosed—it is a partial front fence with open hilly back. For an active dog, leash walking may be best. Love that you can bring your dogs to this home!

Me and my partner had an INCREDIBLE week at this beautiful, cozy cabin. It has every amenity needed for a week of skiing, like the awesome hot tub, and fireplace to warm up, a full kitchen, an awesome backyard to play in the snow….the owners were so accommodating when I needed to extend my stay a day to be able to arrive before a big winter storm hit. Another really great perk is the location - it sits right between Sugar and Beech mountain, making it very convenient and easy to travel throughout Banner Elk and surrounding areas. This is the kind of cabin I will certainly rent over and over again and eventually take my future kids to. 100/10 experience and amazing hospitality. We can’t wait to come back here again and again in the future!!
