BEARADISE 2 - Five Min Walk To Downtown Banner Elk

This was a nice pet friendly place in the mountains. The road up is curvy but not too far from the main road. It is walkable to downtown if you don’t mind the climb back up. The rustic cabin feel was nice. The back porch was the best, especially listening to the live band downtown on a rainy weekend. Very quiet. It rained most of the time but it didn’t matter, shops & restaurants were open and there was plenty to do & see. It was nice to have a full kitchen and more than one place to eat when we stayed in. Would definitely stay again.

Great place for a trip to Banner Elk. The walk into town is nice, but steep and curvy. My GPS took me to the wrong spot but I was able to still find the place. The driveway is steep going down, but has a huge area at the bottom with plenty of space for multiple cars and to be able to back around and pull out. The back yard is nice and loved the porch and swing!

I loved the ease of walking my dog to town! Comfortable beds, too!

Pros: Very comfortable beds Plenty of space Excellent location Cons: Loud floors! We were squeaking, the people above us and their dog were squeaking all night, it was a squeaky wooden orchestra. The shower has terribly low water pressure and the temperature was up and down as you shower. Nowhere to hang towels. An over the door hook rack would fix easily. The fridge was very loud. We would've been likely to stay again had we gotten any sleep, but we were exhausted the whole trip. But the people above us had a dog that paced all night so that skews our perspective some. The shower was not a good experience either though.
