BEARADISE 3 - Five Min Walk To Downtown Banner Elk

When we had difficulty finding property, it was hard to reach host directly. The apartment was nice and cozy but could use a more thorough cleaning in bathroom as it had a musty odor. Overall, we would book there again.

This cozy condo was great for our stay in Banner Elk. It truly is just a five minute walk down the hill into town, yet felt very secluded and tucked in the trees. We loved sitting out on the large, private deck in the evening and listening to the music wafting up from the town below. This particular unit is on the third floor, but was just one flight of steps up. There are two other rental units below with a shared charcoal grill, fire pit, picnic table and covered seating/dining area, and ample parking. The condo was immaculate and very well appointed with everything we needed, including a washer/dryer. The beds were very comfortable, although it did get a little warm in the bedrooms, probably because we were on the top floor and it was early July. Andrew was a great host and very responsive with any questions that came up. It was a wonderful stay at a very reasonable price. We look forward to our next visit!

THE HOUSE AND VIEW ARE GREAT. EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND WELL APPOINTED. VERY NICE PICNIC SHELTER , FIREPIT AND GRILL. THE ISSUE WAS BEYOND OWNERS CONTROL. THE ROAD NOISE FROM DUMP TRUCKS AND DIESEL PICKUPS BLOWING OUT KILLED IT FOR US.
