Vieux Carre’- Brand new 3BR/2.5B Balcony & Parking

What a beautiful place to stay! The decor and amenities were perfect. Our host was quick to respond and very welcoming. Conveniently located to all the action, but quiet enough to get a great nights sleep. If I'm ever back in New Orleans, I will definitely stay there again.

Good equipment clean very cozy and efficient back room TV buffer but it didn’t spoil nothing! His and hers bathroom was on point!!!

If this is your first time in NOLA then perhaps stay a little closer to the river in heart of city. If you are a regular visitor, this is a nice, clean, place to stay, with lots of nice extras. Positive points: - clean and comfortable - all the rooms and bathrooms were immaculate - plenty of room for group of 5-6 - lots of places to store your bits and plenty of towels - good security system (maybe over the top but may make some people feel more comfortable) - lots of lovely extras like toiletries, coffee pods, laundry facilities, snacks. Nice touches. -7th ward is a neighbourhood inhabited by locals (not just tourists) and the neighbours are pleasent and quiet (although we didn't spend much time hanging about as too much to do and see!) - Not so far from Kermit's Mother-in-law Lounge! - Good WiFi - Fair price for the location For some people these points may not work for them: - On the lake side of where North Claiborne Ave turns into a bigger wider main road. This makes it really hard to cross on foot and about a 30-40min walk to main part of Frenchmen Street. If I stayed again I would rent bikes for the week as that would make it super quick to get into the heart of the city. - Ubers and Lyfts have gotten more expensive than in previous visits which adds a bit more cost to move around the city from this location. - Not a good local bodega or little shop walking distance to get some grocery bits, so again, bikes would make that much easier.
