Very good apartment

The elevator was not working which caused bit difficulty . We had to use the stairs up to the 4th floor. The stairs lack light

The apartment itself was wonderful. Great location. Close to restaurants. Good view of the street below. We were able to watch a parade at night from the apartment. Easy walk to Bourbon Street, the river, coffee shops and restaurants.

This part is for the building, not the apartment. The building itself was not very good. There must have been some type of electrical problem with part of the building. There was no electricity in the entrance, hallways or to the elevator. You have to go down a long dark hallway to get to the elevator. Luckily we had packed a flashlight to see how to get to the apartment. The hallways and stairs were all dark. They were lit by battery powered lanterns. We had to carry our luggage up 4 flights of stairs, something we did not expect. The elevator was not repaired while we were there. We had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs every time we went anywhere. It was very tiring by the end of our vacation.

In a great location, with everything we needed

The lift was not working due to maintenance, the stairwell was lit by temporary lighting to floor 2, we were on floor 4. Thumping music until the early hours meant disturbed sleep.

Very central to French Quarter. Well appointed kitchen. Spacious apartment in good working order.

Lift not working and there are 60 stairs to get to apartment. Windows were covered with perspex which does little to block noise and prevents windows from being opened. We were advised of lift outage the day of arrival. I requested alternative accommodation as we were on an extended trip with heavy luggage that had to be carried up the stairs. We were offered assistance via email in response to the request. I advised of arrival time but we were halfway up the poorly lit staircase before help arrived. The entry was dirty and dark, even during the day. There was great cupboard space but it was full of linens. We had three people and it would have been uncomfortable travelling with more as seating and luggage storage was in short supply.
