About this villa rental
The villa El Cafetal de Veronica, which is situated in Puerto Banús, overlooks the nearby mountain. This 2-storey villa consists of a living room, a very well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 8 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), air conditioning in the bedrooms, a washing machine, a dryer as well as a TV. A baby cot and a high chair are also available.
The highlight of this accommodation is its private outdoor area with a pool (open all year round), a garden, garden furniture, an open terrace, a balcony, a barbecue and an outdoor shower.
Walking/driving distance to nearest restaurant: 650m.
Walking/driving distance to nearest cafe: 2km.
Walking/driving distance to nearest bar: 650m.
Walking/driving distance to nearest supermarket: 600m.

I took away from work to reward them for their hard work. The Villa is fantastic, in a perfect location. The facilities were excellent and we had a thoroughly enjoyable break.

The villa was absolutely beautiful. A real cooks kitchen, with every amenity you could think of.
Pool was fabulous, and the gardens were beautifully kept.
Access to the beach was two minutes away, and a casual walk into central Puerto Banus was 25 mins, but along the board walk so a stop at one of the many beach clubs on the way broke the walk up to 10/ 15 mins . It was perfect.
There was a carrefour at the end of the road , closed Sundays. Loacal Irish bar showing all the football and a pool table which kept our teenage boys happy. All in all a really wonderful break.
We would return.

Pros: Not one to leave a review normally but feel like I have to with this one.
The villa is stunning. The photos do not do justice. We we're blown away when May showed us around. Everything in working order and very comfortable. Stunning is the only word!
Good location. Very close to the beach and 5 min taxi to Marbella which is stunning.
Started to notice ants on the second day however we didn't think to much of it. Keep cleaning and don't leave food out. However the ants became awful. I expect ants don't get me wrong I'm not a prude. But in the beds when your sleeping, all over the counter when your cooking and one friend was badly bitten as they were red ants as well as black ants.
Worst of all, on our last night the villa was robbed. The villa was locked with all the codes active. We did find one window open in the morning which we had never opened or went near during our stay. Around 400€ euros was taken, bags and contents were emptied around the villa. I understand this isn't the owners fault. However as 5 girls, in a foreign country, all aged 24-26, we would have appreciated if someone came to check on us or the villa. May was very apologetic when she came to check the house before we left. However, 45€ was taken from our deposit due to the fact we were leaving on a Sunday. I understand this is the rules and is explained on the website, however, after the villa had been robbed and we lost all our money we were hoping for some leniency as we lost all of our money. We were later informed that the villa had been robbed before.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the robbery and the way it was dealt with ruined our opinion of the villa.
