Vacation the Old-Florida Way is this quaint "Fish House" duplex along the shores of Little Hickory Bay.
This vacation rental is a duplex and this 3 bedroom, 3 bath apartment is unit "A" sleeping up to 6 guests. The neighboring apartment is unit "B", sleeps 4, and can also be rented, if available and you have a larger group needing accommodations up to 10. Please inquire.
Treat yourself to a serene setting with far reaching western sunset views in this Bonita Springs bayfront property. Sitting on a point where Little Hickory Bay and a local canal meet - with 130' of bay frontage and 150' along the canal. Not only will you be dazzled by the western skies, but you may also be treated to visits from the manatees and dolphins that live and play in the bay! Just minutes to the Gulf, either by boat or car, this is the perfect spot for water & beach-loving guests; an included kayak allows you to enjoy the water - whether you choose to dock a boat or not! (Please note: the boat dock is shared with the guests on both sides of the duplex; each side has a kayak for their dedicated use.)
Dining, shopping and many of the things that make SW Florida such a popular vacation destination are easily within a half hour drive from the home.
In this unit you will enjoy over 1,100 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, sleeping up to 6 guests (please note, this unit is on the 2nd floor and is accessible only by an outdoor staircase.)
Main living space with open living room, kitchen and dining, with French doors opening to the spacious balcony; living room with reclining sofa, sectional and wall-mounted Smart TV with YouTube TV; dining table with seating for 6; kitchen with stainless steel appliances, cookware, dinnerware and many small electrical appliances included
Large balcony, in a fully enclosed screened pool cage, running along the back of the home, with an unforgettable view of the heated pool below and the waterfront at the back of the property; outdoor dining and pub-style seating

Spacious lawn area along the point, where the Bay and canal meet, with almost 300' of total frontage; direct Gulf access from the Bay through Wiggins Pass; boat dock for tie up accommodates an 18'-24' boat for fishing, wildlife sighting, or just relaxing along the water. (Please note: the dock also serves rental guests in unit B when applicable)
2 kayaks and a stand up paddle board is provided for guest use, exclusive to this unit.

Bonita Springs is in the heart of Southwest Florida. Immediately to your north you will find Lovers Key State Park, Fort Myers Beach, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel, and Captiva Islands. To the south is the luxurious town of Naples. Within a half hour of the home you will find all the beaches, watersports, fishing, cultural events, sporting events, nature preserves, shopping, and dining you will need to make your time in Southwest Florida completely unforgettable!
The property less than 2 miles to Bonita Beach Park, less than 4 miles to Barefoot Beach County Preserve, 6 miles to Coconut Point shopping & dining, 15 miles to the heart of Naples, and 22 miles to RSW airport - truly in the middle of it all!
No smoking, including e-cigarettes, cigars, or pipes permitted anywhere on the property; this includes the home and lanai.
No pets allowed.
Pool heaters don't run May-October. Local weather, sun, rain and daytime & nighttime temperatures will affect the actual pool temperatures, and a static temperature is not guaranteed.
The heated pool is fiberglass, and the painted surface is fading but it is not a "dirty" surface. The owner is planning to repaint the surface as soon as possible. The pool may be used and enjoyed in the meantime. Thank you.
**Please note boat lift is not available for use; however the dock may be used to tie up a boat.
Please note: The tides change and neither the management company nor the owner of the home have any control over the water levels in the canals and are unable to guarantee specific water conditions and accessibility.
Minimum age to rent is 25.
Please be prepared to present a government issued picture ID, matching the name on the property is booked in, to a representative of management company or property owner within 24 hours of your check-in.

House location was perfect. On the end of the canal. It was just my wife and I, but the house is big enough for the whole family. Local restaurants were great. The pool was perfect. The kitchen and livingroom are very large. Bonita beach is very easy to get to. Short drive or walk able.

The check-in was very easy and everything was clean and in order upon arrival. The location was convenient for quick trips to sunrise/sunset walks at Barefoot Beach, restaurants and shopping. Beds were very comfortable and it was quiet at night. There was some construction noise in the morning but that’s to be expected as they continue to rebuild that area of the state and it was not a nuisance at all. We did have an issue with the pool but that was resolved quickly and didn’t change our plans in any way. This was exactly what we needed for our stay.

The view of Little Hickory Bay was a delight, with boats and sea birds and gorgeous sunsets. The interior design is spectacular, with lovely artwork and a light, bright, and airy atmosphere. On a more practical note, the beds are super comfortable with soft, high-end linens and the bathrooms are well appointed.
