You can also look forward to the former carport area, which has been converted into an activities room. Here, a pool table, table tennis, table football and a TV provide a variety of entertainment and opportunities for socialising. Thanks to a heat pump, this bright room with its large windows can be used all year round. After an active day, retreat to the whirlpool in the bathroom or make use of the loft for cosy moments.
Relax on the terrace, take in the views of the spacious grounds surrounded by nature, and play a game of pétanque. Find peace and quiet in this secluded spot and enjoy the fresh air far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
From Kølkær, explore the beautiful surrounding forests and go for walks or bike rides. Plan a canoe trip on the Gudenå or go fishing in the region’s many lakes. You could also take a trip on the historic paddle steamer Hjejlen or visit AQUA in Silkeborg. Legoland in Billund, Givskud Zoo, the Djurs Sommerland amusement park, the Kattegat Centre in Grenå or the Den Gamle By open-air museum in Aarhus are also highly recommended destinations for a day trip.
