The beaches of Forte dei Marmi, a well-known tourist town with many pubs and restaurants, are only 10 km away. Here you will also find small fine boutiques, many design brands and exquisite restaurants. The nearby town of Carrara (14 km) is the world's most important area for the extraction and production of the famous Carrara marble, a prestigious white marble from the nearby Apuan Alps. To Genoa it is 126 km. Here you can walk through small streets where you can find the most important buildings of the city, turned into museums or art galleries, or admire the old marina with the famous Doge's Palace.
