About this apartment rental
L’Ea di Lavru is a delightful small holiday complex consisting of 11 apartments. It is located only a few minutes from the most enchanting beaches on the coast, facing the spectacular panorama of Tavolara island, which appears as an imposing dolomite rock suspended in the gulf among the amazing turquoise of the sky and the sea. The apartments, which definitely stand out from the area standards, differ from each other in terms of position, size, articulation of spaces and interior design. Delicious verandas and terraces, surrounded by colourful flowers, allow to pleasantly use the outdoor spaces and enjoy the spectacular panorama of the gulf. The designer artistically distributed the accommodations in three harmonious groups of villas, between an alternation of small areas of Mediterranean scrub, rocks with warm shades of pink granite and delicious, extensive flower beds.

SLEEPS: 2
DISTRIBUTION: on one level. Access to the entrance is via a downward staircase set among large rocks. In the unique environment there is a double bed, 2 poufs, table and chairs and a kitchenette. The bathroom with shower can be reached via a small hallway / dressing room. An extensive terrace, largely "veranda", runs around the two sides of the apartment.
TERRACES AND VERANDAS: a spectacular veranda, with two huge granite columns chiseled by hand, is furnished with outdoor table and chairs, and ranges over the enchanting seascape.
VIEW: Sea view. This apartment has a splendid view of the gulf from the large veranda / terrace and from the huge vasistas window in the living room. Garden view: from the veranda / terrace
NEXT: on the left it borders the living room of apartment # 8. The other 3 sides are free from adjacent neighbors. Below no apartment. MANDATORY ADDITIONAL COSTS NOT INCLUDED IN VRBO CALCULATION TO BE PAID AT CHECK-OUT: Water and electricity: at meter reading. The average consumption is around € 2.50 per day per person. (The use of the air conditioner - hot / cold - causes an increase in cost proportional to the time of use).
REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT: euro 300.00. It must be paid in cash at check-in and is refunded at check-out against the payment of water and electricity consumption and after checking for any damage.

We have just arrived back from a fabulous holiday in Sardinia staying at L'Ea di Lavru. Apartments are beautifully decorated and very clean in a fantastic location with some apartments overlooking the sea, the others overlooking well kept gardens. Flavio's attention to detail is evident in everything from his marvellous guide which is essentially a holiday Bible of things to do and see in area to the decor in apartments.
If you need any advice or help with restaurant bookings or trip booking Flavio is more than happy to assist getting you the best table and great service at local restaurants where you will be treated like royalty as we did at Il Fare restaurant close by. Beach close by together with supermarkets, shops and restaurants all within walking distance although wise to hire car to explore island and see the other beautiful beaches.
Would thoroughly recommend Flavio's apartments for that special holiday with that personal touch which is so rare to find these days. Look forward to returning next year!

We stayed in property number 9 which was one of the smaller ones but had a very private feel which is what we wanted with superb views across to the island.
Everything was to a high standard and just what we wanted. We had to pay extra for wi fi which was a great help and an added advantage as it was available only shortly before we arrived , and for sun beds. I think it would be worth considering including some of the extra's in the main price although see that it does give people some flexibility abut what they want to pay for. Flavio's excellent guide book and advice on the spot were invaluable and we just needed more time to explore more. Lots to see in the surrounding area.

We spent the last week of our honeymoon at L'ea di Lavru in apartment 9. The view from the balcony is stunning and the surrounding flowers smell beautiful...it is a lovely setting however you do definitely need a car to make the most of this Island. The nearest beach is 10-15 minutes walk away down quite a steep hill which is a good workout on the way back! There are some lovely beaches and restaurants nearby and people are friendly. Unfortunately on our stay noise in our apartment was a problem from the apartment above...I don't think much could have been done about this as its more to do with the soundproofing in the ceiling we woke up very early each day as the toddler staying in the apartment above played merrily with what sounded like marbles bouncing off the floor.
You are warned before you stay that you must provide your own washing up liquid and hand soap etc but it seems a bit excessive to charge for all extras such as comfortable sun chairs . It looks so luxurious on the brochure so it was a surprise to find some things missing such as an ipod dock or even TV remote! The bathroom has lovely bright tiling however the shower is quite compact and instead of a screen has a shower curtain which sticks to you as you shower..this is a pet hate of ours and we feel a screen would be much better but realise this is just our personal opinion. We don't wish to be too negative as did enjoy our stay and must say that Flavio was very helpful and knowledgable about the local area he even arranged for us to spend our last day at a local hotel with a lovely pool etc. We think the larger apartments are probably better with more facilities and overall the complex has a lot of potential. The apartments are clean and pretty but could be better equipped in terms of storage for your clothes etc.
In terms of local attractions La corallina is a lovely beach and The Ollastu hotel nearby has a great restaurant.
The owner Flavio does provide good customer service and his on site manager Marco is helpful.
