Booked to stay for one night to visit family waited for the access details to be emailed, messaged the host to be told at 8pm that the property is closed qnd isnt available to stay in but still took the money for the reservation and its non refundable

Location good as we came to go to a family party in Castor. Rooms spacious, furnishing basic We booked for a party of 8, however there were only 6 dining chairs, 6 metal knives and only 5 mugs, of which one had a broken handle. So, provision of equipment was not adequate for the party size booked. There was no check-in information provided. A code for the key safe was e-mailed and sent via text at 1pm of day of arrival, but we had no notice that this was to be the process and we had to chase earlier in the day to be clear on what was happening. There was no information provided in the property re heating control etc or requirements when leaving
