Chadlington House condos feature a quiet location in both summer and winter, situated on the shuttle route to the ski area on Mount Crested Butte. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo located on the second floor tucked in the northern part of the complex. The condo offers 2 permitted vehicles for parking. Entering the open living space, you'll be welcomed with plenty of room for entertaining. There is a dining area with seating for six, a top-of-line kitchen with a chef's inventory, and a cozy living room for unwinding. The couch doubles as additional sleeping with a queen sofa bed and an extended table top if you need to squeeze in some work between play.
There is a queen room and full bathroom located off of the living room. The bathroom has been upgraded to offer a spa-like experience with its' custom tile work and state-of-art shower head for the ultimate relaxation. Heading to the second floor you'll find an extra TV den for hanging out or storing gear during your stay. The primary bedroom also located on this floor, is spacious and inviting with a plush queen bed for resting. You'll also find convenience with a full washer/dryer tucked away in the nook of the bedroom. The primary bathroom competes again with another spa experience offering similar custom tile work and also a state-of-art shower fixture.
The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. The Chadlington House condos are located just down the road from the summer town route schedule which is every 20 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes. In the winter, the condos are on a special condo loop shuttle that picks up every 30 minutes and brings you to the base area. Just walk to the end of the driveway and a friendly bus driver will deliver you to the resort base area for a full day of fun!

This was a relatively comfortable place to stay. The updates inside the property were done well. All appliances worked. We were fortunate and able to check in a little early which was nice. We would stay there again.

Pictures look great, and generally the remodel on this older unit works well. But I'd say the dining chairs MUST be replaced. The covers were clean but the seats themselves were caved-in. Beds were fine, bathroom remodels were very nice, kitchen stocking was very good, TV was modern. One downside on this location is that it is located directly uphill from Mt CB's sewage treatment plant. Occasionally the smell was noticeable, but tolerable. Views from the small front porch were good.

Location is good and easy to access. It’s close to the mountain and an easy drive into town. It was quite and we enjoyed it.

Everything was great overall, but a few things are worth mentioning for future improvement:Safety Concern: None of the fire alarm monitors were operable—the batteries had been removed, which is a serious issue that should be addressed promptly.Furniture Comfort: The dining chairs were quite uncomfortable. They sink noticeably when sitting, and some had coils hanging out from underneath. Replacing them would make a big difference.Appliance Heat Issue: The dryer significantly heats the upstairs room while in use, which made it uncomfortable at times.
