About this apartment rental
Mountain Edge features a convenient location in both summer and winter, located on the shuttle route and a short walk to the West Wall access lift in the winter. You’ll want to spend all day on the outdoor common patio that faces down the valley with breathtaking views of Whetstone, Axtel, and other surrounding Elk Mountains. Grill out with the communal grill or soak in the hot tub.
This is a 2-bedroom, 2 full bath condominium located on the entry floor of the Lodge. Entering the condo you’ll find the kitchen, living room, and dining room with an open floor plan. The living room is quite cozy with seating for 5 on updated couches and chairs. Watch your favorite TV or movie or lounge in front of the gas fireplace. Between the living and the kitchen, you’ll find seating for 6 at the dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook a meal for friends or family. Bedrooms are accessible on the same floor as this is a one-level condominium. The primary bedroom features a queen mattress for ample comfort and a private full bathroom. The second guest bedroom features two twin beds with a full bath also accessible off of the common living space with a new sleeper sofa. These two spaces are divided by a folding wall which can be left open for open space or closed for privacy when sleeping. Outdoor complex parking for 2 is allotted.
The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. The Mountain Edge Condominiums is located on the summer town route schedule which is every 20 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes. In the winter, Mountain Edge Condominiums is on a special condo loop shuttle that picks up every 30 minutes and brings you to the base area. The shuttle is not needed for ski access when the West Wall lift is in operation.

This includes paper towels, toilet paper, starter shower kits, coffee packets with powder creamer and sugar, kitchen towels, dish sponges, dish soap, and dish detergent.

We loved our time here. Great location, easy access from parking lot, and quintessential mountain property feel. The sleeping arrangements were great for us and the check-in and check-out process was super easy. Enjoyed the hot tub and walked to nearby restaurant for dinner.

Management company was responsive, location was great and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Would recommend this place to anyone. The town shuttle was a short walk up the hill as was the West Wall lift.

Overall, condo was clean and easily accommodated us. Clean beds and extra blankets were great. Heat worked great and had no issues with the cold. Fireplace did it seem to work,the display that controlled it was not readable due to a backlight that made reading the words difficult. Any setting tried did not work. The property claims washer and dryer in the closet but only had a washer. Was disappointing since we couldn't dry out wet ski gear. There are washers ans dryers on the lower level but required quarters I did not have. One side of the toaster was broke and the coffee machine did not work very well. Some of these items were very old and dated and should be replaced. Also, the got tub was lule warm at best. We went out in 20 degree temps, turned it on, have it some time but was a letdown getting in. Had to get out pretty quick bc it was too cold. All that said, the walk to the lifts were just a few minutes and we loved how the bus pickup was right at the parking lot driveway. For someone who would just sleep and stay for a couple of days without laundry or cooking I think it would be just fine.
