About this cottage rental

This is a beautifully furnished modern 3-bedroom apartment sleeping 5. Centrally located in Clifden town, a bustling market town in beautiful Connemara. With a large outdoor terrace, it overlooks the picturesque Clifden Bay and is a two-minute walk to wonderful shops, restaurants, bars and café's. This is a perfect base when exploring the Connemara region. An ideal property for couples, families or small groups of friends. Local activities include kayaking, surfing, fishing, hill walking, pony trekking, golf, boat trips and much more.
Facilities:
3 Bedrooms – Sleeps 5. The apartment is a beautifully furnished modern, bright and spacious property with high quality furnishings and fittings. It is located on the lower level of the apartment block and is accessed from street level by descending a flight of exterior steps. The lounge area has beautiful comfortable cream Italian leather sofas, electric stove heater, TV with Sky channels. The fully equipped kitchen has all modern conveniences including microwave, kettle, toaster, dish washer, fridge freezer, electric cooker, washer/dryer and the adjacent dining area has an extending table which can seat 6 persons. The French doors in the living area provide access to the large outdoor terrace which offers views of Clifden Bay and harbour. The apartment has 3 bedrooms – 1 double room,1 single room and 1 king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom & shower. All bedrooms offer lovely views over the terrace, garden and harbour. There is also a separate family bathroom, with bath & overhead shower, WC & sink. Electric heating throughout property. The terrace is very spacious with an array of outdoor furniture available. Cot and high chair available on request. Towels and bed linen is provided. Wi-Fi available. Electricity and heating included. No smoking indoors. Pets welcome by request only. Pay and display parking available and free public parking available close by.
A security deposit of €150 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.

This property is one of the nicest self-catering, pet-friendly holiday homes we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and the various food goodies left for us were very much appreciated. The kitchen is modern (eye-level oven, grill and microwave) and very well equipped. There is enough cupboard room to store one's own provisions. The sitting-room is not a separate room (as one might think looking at the photo on the property's webpage) but continues on from the kitchen and has its own sliding door opening out to the terrace. The TV worked without any problems and offers all the usual channels plus the Sky ones. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds (lovely bedlinen) very comfortable. Enough good quality towels were left on the beds and some toiletries provided in the bathroom and the en-suite bathroom. The shower in the en-suite is powerful. There are also heaters in the bathrooms. The central heating worked very well and it was cosily warm throughout the apartment. The terrace is large and the view over to the harbour just lovely. There is outdoor seating and it would be very nice to sit out in good weather. The property is very nicely furnished and it was certainly with the comfort of the visitor upmost in the mind of the owner. The location of the apartment is just superb! It's only about 100 metres to the very good SuperValu and the town centre with the shops, restaurants and pubs is just a few more steps away. There is no dedicated parking spot for the apartment and although the reserved spaces were not occupied during our stay we did not park in any of them but found a place across the road. The only small drawback is the flight of steps down/up to/from the apartment but we managed fine. We truly enjoyed our stay in this property and will definitely return!

A very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment in a beautiful location close to all amenities. Only downside is no dedicated parking but there is free street parking nearby.

We were impressed with the view, the appartment was clean and very well equipped. Very quiet even though it's on a busier street, everything is within walking distance, free parking on the street just in front. There are some stairs to get to the rental, but it's clearly stated in the VRBO description, so we knew about it. Highly recommended!
